I have a whippet x bull, he has the build of the bull, just a bit more leg. Well tonight went out on usual walk with him and my springer, let both off as usual, when a border terrier wandered up to my whippet x and world war three started. Mine had the head of the border in its mouth and was shaking it like a rag doll. I grabbed mine by his collar, when a lady appeared who was the owner of the border and held her dogs body, I could not get mine to let go, so I used the lead like a choke chain and commenced to tighten so that he would let go, which he did eventually. Had a similar problem under my decking set a fenn with poison wired to deck joists, got this last night, none in the morning. Trouble is neighbour has chickens still will keep on top

Well just got back from vets minus one ferret. Diagnosis was that there was an abnormality in tummy and they could x ray but she may not come through anaesthetic other alternative pts. Gutted as was a good worker.

I'm not a true stick maker made a couple finished them off with linseed oil 2 or 3 coats, leave to soak in and polish with old towel. -
One of my Jill's today seems very lethargic, and unsteady on her feet, also tummy seems to be bloated. She is quite old maybe 8 or 9 years, was ok yesterday just wondered could she have had a stroke? Have been giving her water which she drinks, not sure what to do she shares hutch with another any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi mate I found with my Springer that you need to be 100% that the dog will drop to the stop whistle then when out as soon as game flushes blow the stop whistle, they will soon learn to drop, as with all things go slowly and be thorough and consistent.

Well just got renewal back and have been given permission for .223 & moderator. Budget for new outfit around £700 not sure what to look at, have read various reviews and am struggling to decide. Gun will be used for fox, if going second hand what should I look for? Any suggestions welcome, thanks
