  1. Ideal sort of size Mate. If you can find a durable plastic/metal ring to punch it out I'd try that. Fish it on the drop under a drennan plastic sub float like this: http://www.polefloats.com/images/T/drennan-sub-float.jpg a shot either end of it to hold it in place. Just a hook tied direct to the line, no other terminal tackle except maybe a shot to get the bread to sink (but only add this if really necessary). The bread will wave about as it sinks and entice them to hit it quite aggressively so your sub float will go zooming off more often than not. Some times you'll hear the shot r
  2. I'd try large bread-punch. Squash the slice of bread flat and get something that can make a punch about the size of a 2p piece. Should help you avoid the Perch
  3. Well done Mate and good luck.
  4. The missus has an X-Trail, spot on can't fault it. wouldn't touch one for 5k though Mate, you'll need to spend more. For that money I'd be tempted with either a Jeep or Shogun. Not a fan of the disco at all.
  5. Don't do things by half measures Dan - here's some inspiration for you:
  6. Nice fish armchair, I'd estimate them both to be in the 10-12lb range but it's hard to say from photos
  7. Brilliant catch mate, well done
  8. Fantastic photos, looks like a beautiful place to fish. Beats sitting on a commercial match venue any day!!
