  4. A riend of mine has just had a litter of black pups, he has promised me one so i went down to have a look and one of them had an extra dew claw on its back feat. Have any of you lads or lasses heard of anything like that?
  5. Found this cover song that Chris Moyles off of radio 1 has done hope you like it
  6. Made me giggle. the best one has to be "Swallow it all and be glad, for a shilling I've paid and a shilling's worth I'll be having!"
  7. I was born in 1985 and alot tha seems to bring back memories but i dont know if growing up as a squaddies kid is any different to living on a normal housing estate.
  8. 23 now, been out with hounds for about 10 years i suppose, 4 years ago the terrierman for the hunt i was following asked if could give a hand on the earth and that was me hooked on terrier work, which led onto doing a bit with lurchers.
  9. Just found this on you tube
  10. I wasnt there but im pretty sure it was the culmstock mink hounds there.
  11. We are going to try and get them in the national press to try and discredit the c**k faced w****r
  12. I found out something quite intrestng about one of the LACS monitors today from when he used to be a pro hunting lad, but we have to wait untill we find the negatives for the photos before we can prove it 100%. But he same chap used to bunk of school with the now master and huntsman for the weston and banwell harriers to go hunting on exmoor years ago. When i get the photo ill do my best to bash it up on here so you can all haave a gander at it.
  13. Even though most of the village i live in is pretty much anti hunting theres alot of kids up at the school who were intrested when my little brother took in his red deer slot that he was there when the QSH killed it. He also got presented with a fox brush and got blooded by the huntsman of our local pack of foxhounds when he seen hounds kill for the first time, and has also told stories to his class mate how he had to hold a terrier while we dispatched a fox when out digging of a sunday. Hes very pround to be apart of the hunting community and wears his hunt supporters badge on his school cat
  14. I dont know if any of you lads or lasses have seen this but it made me laugh reading it. http://www.diggingout.org/terriermen.html The bit that made me laugh is the bit bout How do i know a terrierman. Also theres a photo on there that i seen on here i cant remember who posted it or has it as their profile picture, but it goes to show that the antis are always watching.
  15. hopefully i shall be there on sunday, all depending on how hung over i am.
  16. From what a close friend has told me, the weston & banwell used to mark in hollow trees alot. When they used to bolt them for hounds they used to run to as far as they could on the branches and jump and hit the floor running. We had a fox squeeze up between an old collapsed concreat floor and the new one that was laid on top, that was a hell of job to get out as the top layer was all reinforced with wire.
  17. i hope you got the dog out before the bomb squad turned up
  18. Are these the ones that have the fibreglass shaft? If they are ill take 2 off of you. How do you want paying?
  19. Its normally a good day out, I tend to go every other year just so its not to boring and a buit more intresting.
  20. At first i thought it was a stuffed fox mask under the table. Did it not piss all over the place, cos anytime ive handeled a fox ive been covered in piss.
  21. A couple of things annoy me with most of the spades you buy new now is that either the head is to big, or the angle that the head isnt steep enough making it awkward when trenching back the hole. I used a spade of a friend of mine made by bulldog on the weekend he said he bought as it was, the head was perfec size and it had a flat bottom to it which nade it ideal for drawing foxs if you broke in on the brush, he said they were advertised to terrier and ferret men but dont know if they still make them or no.

  23. At our hunt terrier/lurcher show we had people from far and wide to enter their dogs. Luckily we had to good welsh lads judging and it was always the working terriers being placed in the top 3. It was nice seeing the showers faces when they didnt win anything, most of them wouldnt even put their dogs into the races at the end of the afternoon.
