cheers,i've used all kinds of brickies line for nets as i'm a brickie myself,only trouble is i've never got owt decent left in my tool bucket cos it's all in my net bag,i made a nice 5 footer out of the pink marshal line but it is dear to buy.atb nellie

i agree with comanche, my mates got a cracking russel bitch with a brilliant nose but when we are ferreting she gets over excited and goes to ground.at the moment i have a 6 month old lurcher pup[beddie/whip/grey*beddie/whipp/grey/collie/kelpie],i am training up for the job at the moment.for the last 14 years i have used a mongrel collie which we got from the kennels as a pup,he's been an excellent marking and bushing dog ,and he has caught his fair share too through stealth.he still came out for half a days ferreting on saturday and managed to bag one ,heres sme pics of the dogs.atb nellie.h

my thirteen year old daughter loves to come out with the dogs,she also enjoys a trip out ferreting as long as she is in charge of the stinkers.she also likes to spot crows for us to shoot out of the bedroom window,although i need to get a lighter air rifle for us my 97 is way to heavy for her.atb nellie -

good question brother! right firstly, i use mine mainly for rabbits, lamping, and mouching, and in that department stamina wise she is second to none! i use her along side my fell terrier during the day, off the lead? slip? freedom to roam, maybe some dont like that idea! but ive got 110% confidence in both dogs and there job, each to there own in my eye! has i said this is my first lurcher, so im new to the feild in a way, cannot compare much to other dogs, or the fact that beddy x have loads of stamina? all i can say i my pipster gives all every outing, shes never quit, a 2hr walks a wal

hi i have had some cracking hobs ,i find they seem to shift reluctant bolters whereas the jills seem to struggle and lie up sometimes.i ve also found them to be alot more thorough and steady.having said that i have a blinding jill at the moment that never lets us down,and a hob that cant seem to settle down to the job in hand.atb nellie
