    Big Cats

a gamekeeper who we know very well once told me that the upper class!? have secret breeding programmes over here and theyre relesed for quarry after a certain age for the men out there that wants more, and maybe its the ones that get away that have been sighted,it seems to make sense to me
  4. know him through somebody do you want me to pass your number on
  5. i think the best bedding is vet bed you can boil wash it,it drys realy quickly and dosnt hold moisture its great for whelping on as the top layer stays dry and it lasts years, you can buy a roll of it and cut it to the size you want it is expensive but well worth it,ive just been given a bale of shredded cloths to try out, tried them for two days and gave it away to someone else sick of the mess and the dogs being covered in blue n white shreds! just beware theres alot of vet bed copies out there that arnt up to much, pro fleece is probably the best realy thick i could sleep on it myself!!
  6. the sire to the pups is now on my gallery hes the red saluki greyh dog
  7. some people say puppies do this when they havnt been fed enough or if their defficient in something or even bordem, does the pup seem greedy when being fed?certain breeds are also prone to this even being fed regularly on a good diet, how long have you had her? what age is she? and it may be a good idea as soon as she goes to remove it straight away how many times a day is she being fed? has she been wormed? not saying your doing anything wrong just trying to help
  8. lovley mixed bag there, healthy looking too good luck
  9. one of mine does it from time to time especially when she had pups and also when bathed, scent rolling apperantly is to mask the dogs odour to remain them undected to their quarry and also so they dont fetch a scent trail back to their domain just in case theres a few predators lurking about
  10. laguna lines are still around, mrs mckay the orgional laguna kennels died a while back leaving it to her daughter which has persued in the show scene from the last i knew, not sure how they were showing though ,i think its a good thing whippets are strongly worked still, ive seen lines from well known show stock(going back generations and generations) and they havnt a bloody clue, just my opinion but i think theres a difference to say a laguna and some show lines its a great thing that what a dog is intended for is still being used, and a sorry state for SOME of the show whippets thin coated, weari
  11. cheers he gives a few we barks when twisting n turning dont no why because he can do a job.. no worries just hope he gets out of it ive seen how frustrating it can be for the owners,(theyre all sensible men that know what theyre doing)just out of interest is the laguna recent in his pedigree or from a few generations back?
  12. i know of various whippets mainly laguna bred owned by different people all of them are mainly laguna with a touch of the usual oakbark, hillsdown etc and all of them open up,not at all slagging laguna off not at all,I know in the day when mrs mckay bred them they had a good reputation in the coursing fields, ive seen a few other lines of whippet english, american and italian and they havnt had this problem
