    Sorry i didnt explain too well,when i say fed up with Terriers i ment working them really is a 2 person job-that would be me and him,but due to illness i cannot get as involved as id like.He used to go out with his uncle and his Lurcher but he moved abroad and sold dog so he's on his own at the mo.

    My 13 year old son has given up on Terriers and is now really interested in Lurchers to work on the family farm. Does anyone have any suggestions on what breed to get for a first dog? Also he would rather not have a pup as he dosnt have enough experience to bring it on. What age should we be looking for? Sorry about all the questions,but you folks seem to know what your talkinh about!
