I find the Barbie Doll range fits rather well on the Jills , especially the lingerie! Ive heard a rumour that there are people who take their ferrets out and force them down rabbit holes, getting them all dirty and ruffled sacrilege I say!

Thanks mate I was wondering if it could a short long net. I'll try it out sometime im away out next weekend with the ferrets on some lovely permission so i'll let you know if it works out Thanks Jordan

I recently bought an 18 yard gate net and Im confused as how to set it up as I cannot find instructions anywhere. Does anyone have any pics of one set up? or advice on how to set it up? Thanks Jordan

He's a first cross pal.....pit/grey... Pit bull or pit pony? lol I thought that any cross of pit bull was illegal? Stunning dog like you gotta love the pit bull atb Jordan

I wasnt planning on breeding all 4 jills maybe just one or 2. There is one of them that I definitly wouldnt leave with kits (unless they were hers) as she is more so the outcast and doesnt get on greatly with the jills but is fine with the hobs. 3 are sisters and the outcast one isnt related. So she would be removed as would the hob. So the others pregnant or not be fine together? Thanks Jordan

When it comes to the jill being pregnant can she still be housed with my other jills and should she be removed to her own quarters before birth or would she be ok with the others? Also what can be fed to give her a higher protein/fat diet? (By the way I havent bred my ferts im just bulking up on knowledge about breeding as I plan to at some point) Thanks Jordan

I was looking at some sort of collie cross grey as iv been around collies all my life. The terrian is mainly grass and general soft ground with some small areas of cover where i go ferreting.I am more so looking at a rabbiting dog and the odd hare wouldnt hurt not really anything big come to think of it. A fast nippy clever dog would do.

Holy sh*t! Thats one BIG dog Hows he bred? atb Jordan

Im wanting to get more involved with hunting with dogs and im wondering what is the best cross to start with (to take mainly rabbit and sometimes hare/odd fox) Im an experienced dog handler but not so much in this neck of the woods. I already have a collie cross springer and hes a good scent dog for anything but not so great at the chase (nose down sniffing more than looking) I would most likely look into getting a pup/young dog to get it used to my colliex. Any advice would be helpful Thanks Jordan

Aye im having the same problem but then I thought just for the fun of it i'll try an "abandoned" looking one and next thing you know rumble rumble RABBIT! lol just pure luck

Stunning dog pal Nice bag as well Jordan

Its just the smaller holes that he cant get down. I was actually planning on breeding him to my jills because he is actually a really good worker (and was even better when he was smaller) and he is alot better in temperament than the other one. So if i stop all dry food and split them up for a while that should help? (i have them in a double hutch so its easy to split them up)

Iv seen a few in my time when out with my cousin n his doberman lol. (not lamping though) We were in the black isle shooting crows and we had to head up to the woods to dig a trench n feed the pheasants and there was a big black wild cat bout the size of a panther in front of us the dog kicked off and scared it off pretty scary like i nearly shot the thing! :L Also saw one when i was further upland in the black isle. Seemingly a travelling zoo/circus had some back in the day and they escaped n bred lol Any dog would be shredded

One of my 2 hobs (from this years kits) is..well..for lack of a better word..fat. Him and his brother are both fed a mixed diet of dry and raw food (ranging from chicken to rabbit and any other dead things like mice etc.) But the fat one eats the majority of the food leaving the other with the leftovers of his meal. How can I get the greedy bugger to drop weight what's the best sort of exercise? He works about a couple of times a week and cant get down some of the holes lol. He's still really active but eventually gets bored when hes out and goes for wanders. But its too risky just to leave hi

Aye i didnt think it was good enough (but i was just playin about with it lol) Id be just as well buying one for now and then investing in making a few (when i get paid) Thanks

Iv been working on a ferret box meade from MDF but its shite as is the wood. What is the best type of wood to use (not expensive) and what dimensions would be ok for up to 2 hobs or 4 small jills/1 hob 2 jills etc. And what is the best combination to put in ta box e.g 2 hobs and 2 jills etc? (i have 2 hobs n 4 jills by the way) Also what sites sell good quality boxes (if all else fails) Thanks Jordan

Its only a small warren (bout 5) It wasnt that windy but I was with my mate (who cant be quiet lol) so I bet that didnt help. There isnt alot of rabbits in my area because mixie got them all argh. There is a few left but hopefully there'll be heaps more next year lol.
-
Cheers for the help folks I did think they werent going very deep as I could still hear them snuffling about lol. Would putting them down more often help or do you have to have an experienced fert with them? as there is nobody in my area (that I know) who has any ferts used for working
-
Yeah I did have my dog down a bit before the ferrets were put to it and there was definitly something there cause he starts to dig at it and his tail goes mad. It is possible that the rabbits just wont bolt lol. I lamped it 3 days ago and only counted about 5 sets of red eyes so its definitly got rabbits. The ferts are about 4 months old so wouldnt surprise me if thay cant move a buck. I dont have any access to an experienced fert

Was out yesterday with my 2 hobs for the fist time at a warren near my house (on my permission). Spent ages netting the holes up and then finally put the boys down. They dove in and out every hole noses going mad sniffing every nook n cranny. Eventually they both rose and not a single bunny Was real gutted as I know there is rabbits there (cause there's shite everywhere lol and the holes are being dug out more and more) Does anyone know why there wasnt any rabbits and if there is a certain time of day that would be better?? Thanks Jordan
