    If you are in the Romney Marsh area and looking to land some Codling, try Dungeness Point. My mates have had good catches there at dusk and through the night. Codling are about 3lb, plenty of nice whiting being landed, also bass showing on the boils in front of power station. The best of luck where ever you cast your line this weekend.

    does anyone have any info on these 2 reels, an allcock & stanley and a maxima. found them in my dads loft, they may have belonged to my grandad so think they are a few years old

    I've never done any game fishing so i cannot compare but i do know you can get a great fight from a Barbel or Chub to name a couple of coarse fish. I will have ago at catching a salmon one day. If you want a good fight from a fish try catching Bass using coarse gear, its great sport.
