    Ive just come back from hols, went up to my kennels to find my cocker bitch nesting and looking rather fat, teats are down and filled with milk, im hoping shes having a phantom cos the only dog to be anywhere near her would of been my whippet dog whos kenneled next door to her anyone heard of or seen a dog of this mating?

    Thanks for all your replies! I would say its probably down to fitness as he hasnt been out as often as he should have due to having a 7 week old baby in the house, il have to up his walking try get him fit for the winter, what do you all do to keep em fit during summer months?

    My 12 month old whippet dog yaps terrible whilst running a rabbit, I havnt really started him seriously working yet just mooching about, my question is will he stop yapping when he matures and starts catching what hes chasing or will always yap? never had it before??

    Hi all just come back from the vets £180 lighter to microchip and tail dock four cocker pups, £112 for microchips and £68 for docking tails now i might be a tight c~~t but hell that seemed a lot?? what have you all paid?? also the new owner will have to pay a further £10 to change microchip into there name

    I have a whippet dog about 9 months and a new edition of a bedlington whippet pup who are kennelled together at the moment with no problems, my question is do you think they will carry on being kennelled together when they mature without any problems? as there is a cocker bitch kennelled next to them? Was thinking about it this morning ie when bitch is in season do you think it may cause kennel fights?

    Hi you can run a woodburner as well as your gas boiler back to an open vented cylinder, the circulating pump is wired to the cylinder stat so when cylinder is up to temp it operates pump and sends round heating circuit, you could use your exsisting rads and heating circuit pipework, hotwater is fed from cold water storage tank as before hope this helps

    Came home this evening to find that my female harris has snapped off her middle front talon on her left foot, she was tethered to bow perch as normal so how shes done it god only knows?? Ive cleaned it up best i could and put iodine on it to stop infection. My question is will it grow back theres about 3-4 mm left! also will it effect her whilst hunting? any advice greatly received

    Hi all getting back into ferreting with my six year old lad, had couple of outings with a mates ferret and nets to see how my lad took to it, hes took to it like a duck to water, setting nets like a pro and handling the ferrets like hes done it for years. He keeps on bout going ferreting so im gonna have to get our own kit, so wheres the best place to buy nets that are a decent quality at a decent price? cheers
