  5. ok sorry for the late reply my arrestor block is on my gamo cf-x it sits about half inch into the scope rail i have a hawke hd sport 3x9 -40 scope but i find to be comfortable the scope has to sit as far back on the rail as poissible but after the arrestor block is on the scope is then pushed about an inch out of my comfort zone so i think its either going to need a new 1 piece scope mount or a scope extention to be perfectly honest im beginning to think the synthetic stock is maybe to long for my shorter build is this possible?

  7. Pictures would be helpful to fully understand what you mean, maybe you should have just got the one piece mount? sorry let me start again i was told try an arrestor block or a 1 piece scope mount so being human and on a slight budget i went for the cheaper i think the problem is with the arrestor block the scope has to sit to far forward on the rail for me to see comfortably so maybe i will take deckers advice and start again its no big deal anyway gives me more exscuse to shoot haha
  8. hi guys since i fitted my arrestor block i have found myself stretching my neck to get a comfortable stance would and extention be ok or should i get a 1 piece scope mount as suggested to me before?
  9. better luck next time mate i cant wait to give lamping a go on my farm i have a shed situated about 25-30 yards from a hedge where the bunnies seem to be so i may take a sleeping bag on top and lay in that for warmth and as bunnys never seem to look up i may give that ago while finding my range properly. keep at it fella
  10. You may well get a lot coming back here, but to simply try and answer your questions... 1...Depends on the land .... Generally ..maybe..but you end up with a different set of problems!! 2...Almost always..but you still need to find the right time of night!! 3...No, but hardly ever do in the daytime either for bunnys!! One thing I would add, even though you have not asked.....don't even think about going lamping on land you don't already know well from daytime shooting!! thanks i plan on using my parents farm for a couple of months while i get used to lamping then move on
  11. hi guys i have never been lamping before so i just have a few questions 1 is it easier to sneak up on the bunnys? 2 are more bunnys out at night? and 3 do you still use a hid at night? thanks gaz
  12. YES...if you are the Incredible Hulk, get a non return valve fitted on the bottle and get a custom built pump!!..only cost a few hundred pounds...think I will stick to a £2.50 refill at the dive shop!! lol @ that ive got a strange vision of the incredible hulk doing funny things with a pump haha
  13. would it not be cheaper going for a full working s/h jobby? but saying that ive no idea what a revamp will set you back

  15. thats great thanks mate PCP it is then the ultra multi shot or the scorpian t10 not decided yet unless there is any other suggestions
  16. ok so now i know the set up cost but what is the cost of having diving bottles refilled and how often do they need refilling is it down to what gun you have or what? any help welcome guys! p.s this is ur fault cometa300 lol ive always been a spring man but now you got me wanting to look into pcp's not just an excuse to get a new gun
  17. It not gas it's PCP (pre-charged pneumatic) so all you'll need is a pump or a diving bottle system to pre-charge it oh like i said ive only ever used springers what sort of prices are the diving bottles and i guess the pump is manual?
