out for a walk this morning with the whippet and camera , he caught a rabbit about 70 yards away [turns out it had mixy] , good oppitunity for a couple of photos of him retrieving i thought , by the time i struggled to get the bloody thing out of my pocket , then out of its case , almost dropped it , and switch it onthis is my action photo .

i've had a deerhunter montana 5 in one for about 2 and a half years and i agree its to hot to wear with the fleese in, and at first it was waterproof but i tend to get a bit wet nowadays if we get heavy rain. maybe tine for a new coat.

ive just started lamping again after a few years off and i always used a red filter , but now i find it a pain in the arse taking the thing on and off the lamp plus my eyes are a few years older and i cant seem to see any thing with it on , after reading this i realise the problem is not the filter its me .

it will be ok , the smell of the rabbits next door wont affect the working ability of your ferret at all . just make sure they dont get out .
