  2. There are some decent stuff turning up on Bird Trader right now = Shamo stags etc ! Mate of mine got some newly Imorted Pakistani Aseel from of there !! http://www.birdtrader.co.uk/search/poultry-for-sale/all/for-sale
  3. Ha ha Class... Each to there own, but for me personally the falcons I would fly would be for feather. But to stand over a warren for ferreted rabbits with a falcon is not for me. If the falcon was in a waiting on position, say 200ft up I would wince when the bird made contact with a rabbit form that height at speed....
  4. It was a white gyr/saker falcon 3/4 I think). Did it take hares into double figures though ? As just a few kills does'nt make a full season in my book. All I've quoted is what I've seen in the field and not Forum Land hearsay.
  5. In Britain I doubt you will have much luck in flying a longwing on rabbit, brown hares. I know of two people who have "dabbled" with home bred female gyr/peregrine & gyr/saker on September brown hares, the decks soon get smashed up and I would say for the time, effort envolved dont really justify the rewards from what I observed. Stick to Gos, Redtail, harris for all round rabbit & hare hawks in the UK
  6. Oiss off my profile you nosey barstards

  7. Save your money and invest in a Red tail! The two I've seen looked niether here nor there, and just looked out of proportion. The female I saw being hunted had a longer tail than a pure Red tail. The female was a Malimprint and the male was Creche reared if I remember rightly... Dont quote me on it, but I'm pretty sure there are'nt any genuine proper Parent reared Ferutails knocking about ?
  8. I concur, I'd be going out in Maidstone in Kent for totty...
  9. My weekend entailed a Saturday night out in Romford... Had to say them blonde fitties got me and my mates attention in a huge nightclub called Time & Envy, If you like the blondes....
  10. I'm near Spalding/Holbeach too lol

  11. It is not fare, my Boxers seem like a Chastity Belt these days . But they are a little thread bare...
  12. I saw one that came from Via - Bob Crease. Was'nt as good at quarry as a female Red tail I thought, and you dont get much for your money either compared to a pure Red...
  13. yes roughly translated ko means small or little and shamo means fighter. so ko shamo = little fighter. PM my mate "Dexter..." on here, has good shamo..
  14. ?????? There are things you cant put on an open forum, ecpescially when they kill lets just say things they not supposed to.The mistake i made with this hawk was taking him on in the first place against a few better falconers judgements. He liked killing things that were not acceptable to me or Mick, and we were in danger of losing permission over it so he had to go.You can limit check to a point, but not when a hawk will fly 1/2 mile over a field of crows to kill a much loved prey item.I hope this has clarrified things for you in the politest manor i can muster. He was Marks bird bef

  16. As ive never flown one as a game hawk i dont really know, but one guy who i know that flies them at game wont fly anything less than 3/4 gyrSakers.Ive flown a 3/8thGyr/Saker male at Crows and he was crap but liked Pheasant, they do change in there personallity the more Gyr in them.As for them being the same, well just take a look at a pure Gerkin(male Gyr) price to a 7/8ths bird 3 to 4 times cheeper! just out of couriosity pal how much would a pure gyr female falcon cost Cheapest I know off would be a grey female at 3 - 3,500k. Well thats what my friend/mentor who I dog handle for
  17. See I cant even right a sentece properly now....."intimidated" is the word I was looking for.

  18. Moi Join ? Remember I'm a bit shy and crowds make me intimidate me...

  19. Forgive moi if I am wrong, but is'nt a 7/8th gyr/saker almost no different to a 100% pure gyrfalcon ? And why not less than that percentage ?
