Thanks for all the advice lads. Undecided now whether to get a hatsan or just buy a cheap o/u for wildfowling as I know more about them. Oh well got a bit of time before the season starts.

Evening Guys, starting wildfowling in September and I'm looking for a cheap first semi auto maximum £200. Was thinking of a hatsan escort? Any views on this gun or others? Also anyone have one of these for sale? (Ideally in the camo finish) Cheers Alex

I bought my Bettinsoli Silver 12g second hand last month for clays, first gun and I think it's cracking. After reading all the advice on here, other forums and magazines I went for the best fit over make. I tried Berettas, Brownings, Lanbers and AYAs. The Bettinsoli was the best fit by far. I would definitely go with the gun that feels the best. At first I really wanted a Beretta 687 I had found with realy well figured wood but it just felt awkward. Happy Shopping!
