    Wow i like the synthetic stock mate, where can i get one, are they the same price as wood stock ones? So 2" for close up and 3" for lang range gotcha

    I have sent off my SGC application and for christmas my step mum with a SGC and my dad (i live with my mum) wants to get me a new shotgun. If i get my SGC at my mums my step mum will GIVE it to me when im 15 in may. I mainly do a lot of rabbiting and pest around the farms with my mate, and i was speaking to the local gun shop person and he said for rabbit shooting around villages the Mossberg Hushpower 410 will be a good gun, I like this gun and my step mum and dad said they will be happy getting it for me, does anyone source one of these guns if so could you post some pic's and your views on

    My mum wants to check 100% with me applying for my SGC so she is going to phone basc tomorrow and confirm a few questions, but i keep telling her thats there is nothing wrong with me applying for SGC at the age of 14 and go out unsupervised and be GIVE and shotgun at 15, but they never listen. Just one more question, Who do i make the check out to if i live in west wales, should i just put Firearms department or Dyfed Powys police Thanks

    im in the same kinda persition as you mate. My step mum has a license and when i go over my dad i use that(under supervision) im sending off my application on tuesday for a SGC, and when xmas come around i am going to ask for a Mossberg Hushpower pump 410, so if i get my SGC i gave me GIVEN it at 15 hopefully. At the moment i use a 20 Rizzini Emilio OandU, its a great game gun and has a good patern on it but, its quite a heavy gun i find it hard to use and im not small, but im moving back to a 410 as i am doing more rabbiting and 410s are a great caliber for rabbits i hear so im going to b

    Knowing someone is always going to help..but the law is the law, an FEO in not going to bend it... I have got the local deer keeper to show me and help me with the shooting. He has got a 22lr and he said he would help me out. A deer keeper with a .22LR Sounds like he needs someone to help him!!! If you can show reason and need and all the other legal/medical bits come together it should be ok...but I'm a little surprised..if you know the FEO so well why don't you just ask him!!     MY mates got one, he uses it for lamping with the dogs, great all rounder, but iv got the BLITZ and its a hell of a lamp, bit on the heavy side but when im not using it i fling it over my shoulder and it its nicely there as i walk around

    I have know Bobby Charlton (FEO) all my life and he knows i am experienced with guns and i know him very well, will this help. SS yes i was thinking about that, iv got a shotgun at the ready but if i can get some one to GIVE me their 22lr, it would be a better reason for applying for one.

    I was 8 and was target shooting with a BSA super sport with my uncle and cocked the gun, put the pellet in and the next thing to know the gun is attached to my hand, i had pulled the trigger and the bloody thing snapped onto my hand and a part went straight through. Rushed off to casualty and has 6 stitches on each side on my thumb, :icon_redface:

    Im a bit curious about getting my SGC/FAC. Im 14 and have not got a criminal record, iv got 2 referees to sign my photos and filled out my FAC REFEREE forms and i am applying for a 22lr for PEST CONTROL. My step mum has got a 20 bore which she is going to give to me(if i get me SGC/FAC when im 15(MAY)). I have got 5 different farms/ers to sign permission slips and each farm has over 200 acers. I have enclosed this in my evolope to send with the SGC/FAC application except the REFEREE forms. Do you think that i have a good chance of getting my SGC/FAC?

    for a sgc from 8 upwards (i think) for a fac 15 or over (that i know) Its 14 and over that you have to apply for a FAC There is now age limit for a SGC to be given to anyone but why would a 7 year old ned one

    Hello mate, each referee for fac must send the forms themselves as you are not realy ment to see what they have written.You will get your money back if its refused.At first grand you must have written permission from landowners or the person who has the shooting rights and it must state what calibre you are gonna be using(in england anyway) as for your friend buying a gun then giving you it i dont know about that.     Thanks for the info mate but i have printed off the FAC application and it only has half a page written about the Referees saying what their addresses are and phone number and such as what do you means as What they have written about ? Thanks
