    Went out last night for a shine with my mate. Started well and ended well, The two dogs, my whippet and my mates lurcher both got 3 each out of about 4 runs each. Good night it was and we came home and skinned the 6 good sized rabbits we had caught. Heres a pic

    Right the lip on my safety catch on my E.Rizzini 20bore has snapped off and this has caused the barrel selector to rise upwards causing the safety catch not to work propely ( the trigger still goes off even when the safety switch is in S) I went to see the gun smith about this problem and he said that E.Rizzini dop not import these part and they are very hard to get hold of. Now could some one direct me into a supplier or it you have got a switch then i have good money waiting. As the pictures show the switch rising up when it is in safe, so if anyone can supply me with a switch or even a link

    Whilst on my Work Experience up Anglesey, I was offered a shotgun by the gamekeeper. He said there were too many guns in his cabinet and so he wants to give me one. This shotgun is a Victor Sarasqueta - Eibar 12 S/S, its missing a ejector and the stock is a bit loose. He said all i have to do is take it to a gunsmith and ask them to replace the missing ejector and tighten the whole gun up a but and it will be fine. After been on the look for a 12 S/S shotgun i couldn't resist as it was to good to say no to. Can some one tell me how much that will cost and has a anyone got any details on t

    Was down Aberaeron harbour yesterday when this little feller was feeding on a fish, was nice to see it so close and it obviously didnt mind me being there, but in the end made a runner. First time i have ever seen one.

    Went for a walk again today with the 20bore. Had a really nice evening. And a rather odd one. All was going well, had bagged a pigeon crossing from left to righ and had myself a good one shot at it and it just flopped to the ground. The second was a jack doo which flew right over me whilst i was in wait of them when they were coming in to roost. This one took two shot but go him with the second barrel. And then bagged myself a HUGE squirrel that was sat calling in a big oak tree. But the weird was i was sat under a crow flightline when a jack doo came in at a slow pace and i took aim and shot

    Well, been for a walk up the local farm this evening, and has a good bit of sport. Got there at about 6:15 as the sun was about 2 hours from setting so the rabbits were out, pigeons were roosting as well as the crows. So walking up through the yard and place the gun case on the grass bank, where i normally place it and walk up to the sheds where i enter through the gate into the fields to do my round. Chambered two 28 gram 7.5s and then walked with the gun open to the gate when i see a rabbit coming though the fence towards me and closed the barrel and lifted the 28inch barrels and places the

    Is that the bloke out of Sporting Gun who does the Gamekeeping in the magazine? Good idea with the peg. I did it with a length of hazel wood which worked well.
