    mendls i cant speak highly enough as ive tried most boots over the years and I get 2 seasons out of mendls ...i put neets foot oil on mine ....i have got a pair of harkila for this season .....I am on the hill at the grouse tomoro so willl stick to the mendls as a day on the hill is not best for breaking in a new pair of boots

I was expecting a big haul last night but only managed 2 ...for about 7-8 miles but only barley and rape fields down up here still no wheat fields in ...conditions were spot on when the moon was behind the cloud ...saw a mates young bitch show very little interest in her quarry which worried me ...then up at 4 for a craic at the geese....been out with the terriers today its still too warm when working a spade ....out for a shine tonight ...then first days hunting tomoro...im getting to old for this ...thank fuk im as fit as fiddle ...good to see to members of here get

    I was picking up on this place at the weekend and the grouse numbers were poor th e fact that it pissed own the whole day didnt help matters but there was no getting away from the birds just werent there only managed around 30 brace ....Old Sal was sent out to retrieve a white hare and the old girl had great fun spinning it for a few minutes and the guns had a good craic watching her

    I will answer your pm here on any tips how to catch salmon .If you watch a lot of lads salmon fishing its the same angle cast ..let the fly swing round then recast and repeat this but I fish totaly differant ...I fish very fast and precise with loads of variety in the cast ,the angle the speed of the retrieve ...changeing lines and flys sooner rather than later ....one thing I will say is you dont realise just how many fish come up and have a look at your fly with out you even knowing
