    Heres the future of my kennels and the weeman in the middle that will be hopefully digging to some ancestors of these 2 ...although what does the future hold for the younger generation of dog men ....one things for sure is this little fella will never give up the right to work his dogs

    if you watch it closely it was not an oppertunistic attack ....you can see the osprey sees the buzzard coming ...then it leaves the nest and when the buzzard lifts the chick you ca n see at the top of the screen the osprey trying to mob the buzzard ...I wouldnt be surprised if the other chick gets taken also....so thats red squirrels and ospreys being preyed apon....was it not the rspb that said they only eat worms and road kill

    doing as well as expected ...but have a big problem with slugs thats been sorted ...once the sun appears which it has too ...supposed to be a scorcher tomoro and that will do it some good .....put the first of our birds out today

    It has been a rubbish show since it started when it was a SCA here is nothing worth buying and you can walked round the whole thing in 1/2 an hour ....there are a few lads from fife and kinross terriers on here maybe they can shed some light on why they pulled out of the show

    Glamis is the worst show there is an absolute embarisment for the SCA... and now thats there is no terrier or lurcher show its not worth going to ...Scoone is always worth a look I never come home empty handed

    That is a matter of opinion and your entitalled to it but I was brought up on boxing and was weened on boxing from the seventies and early eighties ...the lad was a thug who brought himself up on the streets un til CusDamato saw something in him and brought him up as one of his own ...he was still a child mentaly ...imo if Cus had been younger and when they met and had continued to tutor him Tyson would not have turned into the monster he became ....you just have to see a young Tyson in his early fights he was very tmid until he got in the ring and was gent to his oppenents after he had defea

    there isnt one, but if you find where they really want to feed you could stand there in a mr blooby costume and they would still come in I have to totaly disagree with that statement at this time of year when shooting over flattened barley ....you may be correct when there has been snow on the ground for a long time pigeons will be desperate and a hide is unimportant ...but when food is plentifull your pattern can be as life like as you like but if your hide is not up to scratch you will not fire a shot

    The fact of the matter is most working dogs will not chase a lure I know mine or any of the lads I work dogs with would not entertain chaseing a lure ...its only dogs that are trained to the lure that will put there all into it ...the problem with lure chaseing is you need a lot of space ....ive seen some shows where its not been thought out right and been down right dangerous ........Im not a fan of terrier raceing either its great craic for jo public to watch but 6 working terriers all intent on killing the same lure is just a recipe for disaster ... hopefully you have a good turn out Ali i

    Imo CG ferrets at a working terrier show is asking for trouble and if a terrier gets loose it could become a liabilty ....I like to think my dogs are as well trained as the next mans but I could never trust any of my terriers around ferrets and if a kid was holding a ferret ...its not worth thinking about and its deffinately not fair puting a terrier the chance to get in that situation

    I dont know what shows lack but I can tell you what makes a good show ...totally unbiast judges ,good raffle prizes and show prizes ,no alcohol,decent grub ,an announcer with a bit of craic (like old Jock Reid ...RIP).a decent sized ring for lurchers,something for the bairns and I always think its a touch when at a hunt show you get a mounted parade of the hounds but most of all is the weather but thats beyond your control Ali ....hope yoy have a good craic at Fyvie today lad

    The lad (that a few on here know) who owned one of the lurchers in the coursin scene and the red dog on the cover of NTWICLW and is best mates with a certain celeb that done well in dancing on ice ..has one of my pups from my last litter ...just a bit of unkowen trivia there
