  1. got them from a place that makes life boats, fairly expensive, but the security man slipped me a few for a fiver lol. dont buy the crappy ones you see in a bike shop either mate, there useless, do you know anyone in the police, as there reflective stuff is quite good too?

  3. just some reflective stickers on a normal anklet mate, the jesses show up 100 times more, but i like him to be as visible as possible lol. this is just with the flash of a camera, imagine how visible they are in the side of a 1 million cp beam

Well rolf weighed in perfect this morning, so in the car,collected a mate and then headed to a farm i hadnt hunted in a bit. we knew it was going to be windy, and this farm had some thick hedges, i knew if they bolted the right side, rolf would get a fair chance at them. so finally arrived, got out of the car, even opening the bloody door was difficult. it wasnt windy, it was a bloody gale! at least at this farm, and my nearest woodland farm was a further 30 miles away, i was thinking about it, but thought of a few hills that i knew held a few rabbits, and if the wind was the right way, we may
  6. Due to being able to fly in the day i havent been out lamping in 3 or 4 weeks, now back to normal working days again so i went out lamping last night. Rolf weighed in at 1lb 5.6 and we headed down to meet MJE of the forum. we arrived on the farm and MJE took his male harris out first. it was the birds first time being flown on the lamp. as we arrived into the first feild, we noticed just how wet the ground was, every time we moved you could just hear slop slop slop. the first rabbit we seen cal chased well, but as he got close a couple of more rabbits went into the beam, this oculd have mayb

Just a little update in rolf, the last few weeks i havent done any lamping due to being able to get out during the day. i have been out the usually 4 or 5 days a week. not the full 7 due to not having full control of the car :roll: . but none the less he is doing well. he is now 3 kills of treble figures! of which 98% is rabbits lol. i know headcounting is frowned apun, but hey i like to keep tract in my hawking diary! his weight is also coming on well, hes flying well at around 1lb 6 wihtout leash and swivel, which is an ounce over what he started on. havent managed to bring the camera out re

  19. rabbits would be more of a reward, as the only feather a harris could day fairly is a moorhen lol, could always get a running pheasent or a duck lifting up, but rabbit is the best sport mate
