  1. Headed out again last night, Rolf weighed in at 1lb 5.6, off we went. First field we done, we had 1 or 2 flights, but all were very close to cover, had to get out though, when a couple of cows and calfs were pestering us lol. Next field we had another flight, it was another sitting right beside cover. Got to the end of that field, and looked over into the next field, 2 rabbits ran as I put the light on, so I slipped him, brilliant flight, but didn’t manage to hold it, ended up in a shuck, came out soaked to bits lol. Few flights should dry him out. Headed into next field, but by the time we
  2. Headed out last night, rolf weighed 1lb 5.4, spot on. on my own due to mate having to work this next day ( i know ). due to not having a multiple kills in ages, and being so bloody cold (-2 in car) i decided to do a farm that i hadnt done in a while.wasnt the darkest of ngihts, no cloud cover andjust under half a moon. i wanted a good nights hunting and there aint no better place so of i went. arrived at farm and was hunting for 10:30. first spot i done was a little corner of rough cover, had one out of here the last time i lamped it. got there and had a great flight at a rabbit with a white

  7. headed out last night, was reading -1 in the car, so knew it wasnt going to be the best. got to the farm, and 1st feild only produced one rabbit that was at cover and went it before i could even get to a slippable distance. 2nd field was empty! next field there was a rabbit a good bit out, put ran to soon, got a decent flight at it anyway, but got to the end of the beam, and rolf missed. then seen 2 foxes run into the bottom of the feild! so i knew the next field would be useless, but had a look, and seen a rabbit a good 50 yards from cover, already pinned its ears back before i had got close,

  10. headed out this morning with my dad, was great conditions and looked like we were in for a real good day. anyway, the first flight was a brilliant one, beat a bundle of branches and a rbabit bolted downhill, rolf hit at the bottom, but didnt hold, then got back on terms with it as it ran up a ditch, hit it again just as it got through sheep fenching unlucky, but great flight. then headed to the bottom of the field and walking down a heard a big, ARGH. looked back and seen my da lying on his arse, thought he was ok, but he couldnt move, he had slipped and the ferret box dug into his back. thoug

Rolf weighed in at 1lb 6, didnt hunt the ground i got yesterday due to bad wind predicted, but went further south, where it was still to be windy, but not as bad. its a lovely little farm with a few hills and high ditches, wind shouldnt be a problem. the first field, which is usually a cracker, had a cow and calf in it, so decided not to hunt it, even tho we seen a lovely rabbit sitting well out a hundred yards or so from us. went into the next field anyway, a very small small field it was, with thrushes and in the middle was a large pile of brambles .i seen a pheasent here the last time i don
