    Hi everyone, firstly, this isnt sean, its his brother, dave. sean is away from home for a while and asked me to look after his hawk. he left me a list, but me being me, i managed to loose it. over the last few days ive been feeding him a chick a day. in the freezer is rabbits, rats, quail and chicks. i know you only feed it once a day, btu feed it what, and how much? I Appreciate any help given.

Headed out on saturday with a mate. was a brilliant sunny day.rolf weighed in at 1lb 5.3, a little low, so we flew him first. we had a lovely rabbit broke from cover, with rolf hitting it, missed and got back up, but didnt get back on terms. then we done a little ditch, had a flight down it, only last 20 yards and rabbit was in the hole. as i walked up stephen shouted rbabit, and one one running down the ditch the far side, when rolf took up, he spooked it from the ditch and crossed to the other fenchline, rolf nailed it at a pile of rocks. nice flight to start the day. went on to do another s

  14. Was a lovely dark night. A light breeze, and a farely mild one. Rolf weighed in at 1lb 5.5 . i headed to a farm I done about 2 weeks ago. I know I shouldn’t be lamping it again so soon, but I guess it will be the last time I lamp it that season, so who cares if they go cute? When I arrived I released I had forgotton my glove! It was too late to call into any shops, so I was left to using a sock lol. First field produced one slip, which was very long, rolf struggled in the wind, and eventually turned, I put the sock up and he landed. Done another few small fields, but all I got was one flight
  15. caught one at a field meet one day, it bolted, but didnt get caught, we managed to entince it out with a bit of beef we had for the birds, and put it in the ferret box, said nothing lol. lets just say it was funny, but looked painfull LOL

  17. yes skycat, ive only seen 2 harrises on the same fist once. never seen a properly bonded pair. instead of working together, the compete for the rabbit, and then start fightign on the kill, while the rabbit legs it lol. happened to my bird twice now, so ive stopped flying together
