Rolf weighed in at 1lb 5.7 oz, so headed out to the hunting ground. arrived at around 10 oclock and made my way. was blowing a gale and i knew it was gonna be tough. any slips i had, i had to make sure they where downwind. alone the lane near teh first field i beat a few bushes, of which i got one flight, but rolf didnt get it before it reached cover, only about 20 feet away. so headed into the first field, with love hanging by his jesses in the air. first set was empty, which was unusual, but the second produced a rabbit, i was sheild rolf from the wind and we both didnt see it till the last

  15. Decided to do a bit of lamping last night, no moon, and there wasn’t gonna be much wind. Rolf weighed in at 1lb 5.6, perfect! In the car, collected a mate, and headed out. When we got to the ground, the weather was a lot different than when we left, there was a fairly strong wind, but we hadn’t travelled the 60 miles to drive home again empty handed lol. Straight out of the car we tried a little rough corner, which we got 2 flights from; he got a foot to one, but just didn’t hold.
