almost 2 days to cast?!?! you never get to hunt 2 days in a row then? why is that? nice one flecther, he is certainly doing well, seems like you got the weather today, i was out for 2 hours today, only had the one, and it was BUCKETING really slowed the bird. also located ferret at 5ft, so sat it out for about 30 mins lol

hope this all works out ok, ill write it in keeps style, narrated pics , have to split the thead due to number of pics Got up a little later than usual today, and not thinking id be able to hunt today I overfed rolf yesterday morning. Anyhow he weighed in at 1lb 7! Anyway I headed out anyway, hoping that he just hadn’t casted yet and was talking his time. flectcher, he might not go for them in the open, and he knows when he hits them, he may nto hold them, and get a kicking. but in cover he will anchor himself, you might have seen your bird chase a rabbit in open, but doesnt put the full effort in, untill it gets to cover? if this soudns right lol?

went out last night lol went down south tho, and the fog wasnt to bad at the start of the night, could see a good yards on ther lamp, later on it got worse, so only out for a bit. very very rabbist out or sat well. had about 6 flights, 1 of which was by far, one of the best ive ever seen, even if it didnt end on a kill. so all in all, shit conditions, tough rabbits, but a lot more fun that sitting in

what about reintroducing mixy into the land by doing so? rabbits may be immune to ther mixy in their area, but once they get close to the few lands on the land you wanna put them on, they may catch it. will be a slightly different strain

eamon, when i say townies, i dont actually mean people from the town lol. i mean guys that poach like fuk, have no respect for the land they are hunting on, leave gates open, break fenches, burn wind bushes in the summer for a bit of fun and a chase. and then put noose like fishing lines out on the road to catch feral pigeons to feed to there ferrets alive. townies arent a good word come to think of it. half witted chavs with a ferret is better.

im 100% sure they are for greyhound men, why would tehy wanna transport them to other ground? no need to when they can poach anywhere, no respect for the countryside or their quarry, townies

well the equipment pays itself of the first time your ferret lays up infront of a rabbit and gets trapped. if you want the sport go on ye. but dont see why you should be catchign live oens for greyhound men.
