I dont have a chrono to test it on Sean but will try and get it tested. Head shots only, i am aiming just below the base of there ears, behind there eyes if you get what i mean. Those so far that i have taken have all died swiftly with pellets in this area. -
Now i dont know if my gun is lacking a bit of power or not so perhaps you can help. What range would you reckon it should take down rabbits at, i thought a head shot at 35 yards would be possible to get a humane kill but so far its not happening. Lay the crosshairs on the bunnies head, fire, whack, pellet strikes and bunny runs off. At 30 yds bunnie drops dead. Now there is a chance i am not quite guessing my yardage right, i take fairly big steps so could be out but i wouldnt think by far. I am well happy with the accuracy of the gun, putting pellet on pellet on targets and good penet

Fox destroyer........ you just don'tget it do you, castration is the answer. Bad genes, you shouldn't be allowed to breed.

Is it legal then to use these in the UK then ? do you need any licence to use them from the shore ? Know a few spots where one could come in handy but always thought they were illegal.

Fitting a stop would probably eliminate the pheasant problem, dunno about the hares.

If you were nearer i would have had it

I'm training a young springer at the moment and working on the stop whistle too, i have got to agree with pip on this, i started off with sitting the dog in the middle of the floor and rolling things past him , toys etc that he had as a pup and were taken off him months ago. you could see he was desperate to try to chase but resisted. Would also walk him round the room to heel and right over the top of the toys, if he showed interest then a quick "leave" was given and he'd pass them by, also would leave him in the sit and walk to the other side of the room a place a toy directly in line with

Have an old Webley tracker, must be getting on 20 year old and i am thinking of giving it a bit of a revamp. Have had a browse around some other sites and although there seems to be a bit of stuff about them out there i am still a bit miffed. Fist off i want to fit a gas ram to try and get it running a bit smoother and quieter, came across theoben gas rams but they don,t seem to be available anywhere, read a post elsewhere and some guy reckoned they stopped making them, anyone know anything about this ? Secondly i wouldn't mind fitting a silencer, read a bit about the webley pro

Just found the site after abit of trolling around for other stuff, looks good. I am from Carlisle, originally a country boy but work forces me into the smoke, after what must be 20 years since i last lifted a gun or set a snare i'm getting back into it all again. Currently training my young springer up, hard graft that. Hoping to get him on some shoots next season so looking for a bit of beating this season to get to know a few folk. Looking forward to the crack on here and maybe some help with above.
