Hello Could anyone kindly give me some advice? I have always had an interest in falconry - and used to go with a friend who kept Harris Hawks and a peregrine. Due to work etc my friend was going to let me have one of his Harris's - but unfortunatley he was killed in an accident and everything fell through - so I left it at that. Anyway, just lately I am starting to get an interest again - parlty due to a falconry centre opening nearby. Anyway, what I want to ask is; apart from buying a bird - how much cost and time would I need to invest in keeping a bird? Any advice would be appre

Hello Does anyone remember The Gamekeeper series that was aired in 1995? I had the series recorded on VHS but the tape is beyond repair after 16 years. Does anyone, or anyone you know have this series on DVD? I would happily pay for a copy. Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

A few years ago I got divorced and lost the lot. Ferrets, nets, dogs, guns...the lot. I haven't been on this site very much so I know its a bit of a cheek asking. It's been a few years now and I am now settled and I am itching to back into the hunting game. I am not after a 100% dog at anything, its as much for company as for anything else. But I'd like to start taking my boy out and a little dog for company and a bit of bushing, ferreting etc would be handy. I'm not a peddlar, what ever comes to me, stays with me. Can anyone help?

Usually there is either "first edition" or just a number 1 printed under the ISBN code on the first few pages.

I have a 14 month dog possibly for sale. The reason I say possibly is because my hours at work could be changing. Anyway about the dog, he is 14 months old, jabbed, chipped but with tail. He is also house trained and good with other dogs. His previous owner sold him to me because he killed a few birds and tried to do the same to her cats.................what did she expect for god sake. I have had him out and he has got an excellent nose and marks holes ok and tries to enter but in the right company he should make a good ratter and digger. He has not been with ferrets. Shame that I

give him a squirt with the hose, don,t even speak to him at the same time, just walk away just ignore him, my lurcher pup was the same whinged the first nite then was alrite afta that, is he in the kennel on his own? I bought a Lakeland years ago and he p*ssed all the neighbours off through barking and winging all night in the kennel. Turned out that the previous owner working him but also kept him in the house as a pet.
