    The racing went well, 300 yards to the finish line, my own wee dog Paris come 1st in her heat & 2nd in the U23 final

    We had a brilliant day on Sunday at Moira, the weather was great, there was a great turnout for the racing and showing which was run by the Gilford Lurcher & Terrier Club who did a great job i have taken a few pics on behalf of them when i say a few i mean a few didn't want to leave anyone out well done to all the winners and everyone who competed Overall Racing Winner Rose with Diego & Reserve Fiona with Maverick...     We had a great day yesterday, there was a great turnout, really enjoyed meeting up with everyone again a very well run show Kieran & Team It was a scorcher but there was a nice cool breeze keeping the temperatures down I only took a few pics of some of the winners, i decided to take is easy an relax a bit more...Well done to all the winners and everyone who competed Rose with Zola 1st U23 Racing & Miss Tori Reserve...     Pity Moira changed the date of their show to compete with the long established Florencecourt Fair date. But Florenceourt always draws a good crowd. Its a pity the Racing and Showing is not on a Saturday as usual at Moira, as i have family and friends that can only go on Saturday, now they will have to miss out on seeing our lovely dogs racing and showing..I have always enjoyed both shows as each of them had something different to offer, i always loved the setting at Florencecourt but will be going to Moira as it is a Gamefair, but would liked to have gone to both of them as usual...

    A few weeks back we noticed two Robins back and forth carring twigs, then discovered there was a nest in the Rucksack under the porch in the back yard... The two Robin's left for a few minutes today, so i managed to get a quick pic of the chicks i would guess there about 3 days old, will try and get some more pics when there older, dont want to annoy mum and dad, they are working so hard at feeding and watching them... The chicks are 8 days old, this weekend they should be leaving the nest, hope i get some pics when they do...

    We had a great day at Dessie's show on Saturday, the first one of the year, there was a great turnout, lots of new faces and the weather was brilliant... It was nice meeting up with everyone again and meeting new people i just want to say well done to all the winners and everyone who competed, it was a great fun day all round, a big thankyou to Dessie and Terry for a successful days racing and showing... Rose with Diego 1st U23" Racing & Zola got Reserve in the U23" Racing & Reserve in the Simulated Coursing... My own wee dog Paris 3rd U23" Racing... Kirsty
