  8. The wet day did not dampen the spirits of all Canine lovers,as all roads led to the 32 County Champion of Champions held by the North West Lurcher,Terrier and Whippet Club. The venue was Barron Top Fun Farm, Strabane, Co Tyrone and was held on Saturday 11th September. Barron Top Farm is set on top of the magnificent hills of Co Tyrone over looking the thriving town of Strabane. The views from Barron Top across the valley of Tyrone/ Londonderry is and always will be etched in my memeory for the rest of my days. A fantastic place for a Dog show, as it provides a unique combination of activities
  9. Bluebell! Who's that next to you? The one and only "Lord Macken"
  10. Hi Bluebell, It was lovely to see to you again, your photography is very good, the pictures were great. We called the new dog Spring and she certainly seems to take after her name, she is really starting to settle in. We all had a great day at Birr Castle and good to see all the crew from the North again. MJ had a great day and says to thank you for taking the photographs. This is a great forum, glad you told us about it as it is nice to keep in touch, I became a member and used Scarlett as my user name thanks for the new name, think it suits me! Thanks again, Mark, Fiona & MJ.
  11. Bluebell, Thank you for your efforts on behalf of the fair at Birr. It is good to work with someone who is both talented and highly professional. You have helped demonstrate the positive side of the terrier & lurcher event including the largely happy crowd who participated. It was also a great pleasure and delight to be asked to pose for a photograph with two very attractive blondes - I notice Dessie Macken looks similarly chuffed. I would like to thank Des publicly through this forum for fulfilling his commitment to judge in difficult personal circumstances. AlbertJ
