    Lovely pics Deidre, I am crazy about that Glen of Imall dog. Just beautiful,a real wee cracker. Hope your knee is ok for Shanes Castle for taking the photographs. Maybe Albert would give you a lift around on his motor cycle/shooting breaker on the day. Oh god Margaret your a case if Albert did you might be jealous my knee will be just fine for Shanes Castle, Jim is bringing a footstool for me

    Hopefully bluebell you might visit us at our show on aug20th we would love some 1 to take some pictures also we would be delighted to have ya yours in sport pearse... Im sure we will be there Mary, taking pic for you will be no problem, look forward to it... If you need any tips just ask Tango, 'the spainard', lurcher 330 & HGN... just some of the men with a good positive attitude to the racing & showing world

    Not bad for a first time show Cuba i enjoyed myself and meeting up with everyone and the weather was kind to us, look forward to the next one...i have taken a few pic of the day, will put them up soon...

    Lost track on this thread...Have to agree it is a bit unrealistic to say that only whippets with papers should be racing 'been hunter' has said, whippets can come in all different sizes and throwbacks so how can people tell if it is a pure breed or not?? if thats the case who has the right to question anyone's whippet, if the owner says it a whippet and noone can prove different then its a whippet..

    I dont remember Moira or Ballywalter running a U21 lurcher race, i would have put Paris and Rose's Zola into it lol i do remember a pure whippet race with no papers been run lol

    I can't speak for Moira - but I was unaware that there was any controversy over Ballywalter. If you have concerns about the status of any dog you have the right to take it up AT THE TIME of the race with the race organisers. Whos to say its pure whippets that race when theres no papers, i think U21 lurchers racing would be good

    Have to agree with you low flyer, my own wee dog Paris is of whippet type but she is not a full whippet but maybe more whippet than most of them in the whippet racing, if you cant give the breeding of the dog, give the name of both parents, whos to say its a whippet, only the owner...
