Ello my names Jef, i'm 41, Got 2 boys, Niall 15 and Callum 10. Both live back in southend with their respective mums. Essex born n bred but moved to Rugby a few months ago to be with the g/f. I'm still new [and crap] to hunting, took it up initially to help feed the masses of ferrets the girlfriend has . Been shooting on and off since I was 16. Spent a while in the services when I was younger, and meandered thro a succession of jobs... most recently managing a paintball site for mayhem southeast in essex. I just got a HW90k and it's an excellent rifle, well built and very sweet to shoot. The only issue is it does weigh in on the heavy side.

thanks for the advice Grim an RK. Spot on gents Zeroed at 20 and 30 yards. Started on 9x then fired test groups at 6x and 3x at both ranges. Scope held true zero perfectly I'm more than happy with it [Hawke 3-9x50 IR nite eye]

Thanks muchly Grim. Mounted and zeroed my first scope a coupla days ago using your guide and its driving nails like a champ now One question tho. I got a 3-9x50 scope, does the zero hold true at different magnifications, if not whats the best way to achieve a reliable zero on a variable zoom scope ??

Some outstanding shooting. Op anaconda was a very badly put together ratf**k the PPLI sniper teams made a big difference to the outcome. As P. Carter says its a pity the military hung them out to dry over the alleged atrocity accusation, but then thats the military the world over.... happy to let you risk your butt and even happier to cover theirs.

All ours cheerily munch their way thro guts, be it chicken, rabbit or woodie. plenty of nutritious stuff for hungry ferrets Moxys point is fair tho, if ya carrying a pile of rabbits about gutting em means less weight to lug across the countryside. One chap that provides rabbits for us always delivers them gutted apart from the kidneys.
