  6. Personally I would dye it, though I have also seen rabbits run along both green and brown nets . The lad who now owns that net has a long net in Yellow and he has accounted for many rabbits with it , I would say if ones not got the luxury of a dog whilst using nets of any shade during day light then I would also say that the placement of a bright coloured net is of importance ? Regards..
  7. Yes the nettings 4z , 4" x 25 meshes deep , the hangers make it easy to run out and pick up by hand .
  8. Rigged this up the other week .. about 7 yards in length.. 4z inner mesh , the outer walls are 1mm braid by 2 mesh deep . and locked to the staples ,, The outer walls are set half slack unlike a fishing trammel , which the walls are rigged more open .. Regards..
  9. You have made the right choice . I just had a look on ebay and had a personal chuckle to myself ! Last time I looked on that site Jim was spouting a bit of verbal shite saying ! " 4z nets are only good for setting on golf courses " .. Why is he now selling or should I say trying to punt 4z nets .. I can vouch personally that nelsons nets are made from 100% Toray Nylon , set with the correct bagging , at the correct distance , and his baskets are the mutts nuts unlike field f@ks which lack quality ! ... nelsons kit is user friendly , and silent if ones working on night time drops .. Drop nel

  15. without a doubt you wont be disappointed with one of Nels0ns nets.. I had one delivered last week and as soon as you open up the packaging the quality just shines through.. No corners cut by the Man. I noticed straight away how good the netting is, very soft with nice double selvedge meshes on the top and bottom .. as soon as you run the net out of the basket you will notice right away how simple it is to use with each peg stacked in order so there's no annoying noise with the pegs hitting or rolling of one another . The running lines are set into grommets which is a f

  22. The next time you are knitting a row of meshes feed a few of the formed meshes of the board before you reach the last few meshes that still have to be knotted , this will help get the meshes back to a true size .. You can also try this ,, when you pick up one of the meshes that's causing the trouble , twist the left bar of the mesh over the right bar of the mesh (when the mesh is against the board) by using your thumb and forefinger ... the twist method is used especially when using smooth nylon twines due to the twines stretch.. Regards..
  23. The float lines are better for surface nets if the nets fishing where it shouldn't be .. the newer type of float line is flex line , these lines are very popular for bottom and mid water nets as they have an even distribution and the lines flake down real nice so the gear shoots nice from the bin .. http://www.engel-netze.de/smart5/eng/flotation-weighting-floats-buoys-fenders-float-lead-lines-etc/410-floatlines-cork-lines/floatline-flex-type/flex-line-with-flotation-core-no-2-buoyancy-09.htm
  24. I rigged this nice wee 50 yarder last week .. 3z nylon netting rigged onto a number 4 floatline and a number 2 leadline ... should get its first soak this w/end
