I’ve always had terriers kept in kennels outside and also terriers kept in the house, the dogs outside very rarely come inside and the ones kept indoors rarely are kennelled outside due to the obvious reasons all ready pointed out and there are benefits and reasons for both cases whether kept in the house or in kennels. Two points I have noticed though are that the dogs kennelled outside have better coats and suffer less skin problems than the dogs kept indoors. I put that down to the reason that they see less daylight and colder temperatures during the winter months so their bodies

I’ve always held the opinion that there was far more to the hunting ban than we were led to believe at the time and as I have got older and become more cynical this is what I now believe may have happened to bring about the hunting ban in the first place. Basically the Prime Minister was told in no uncertain terms by his “friend” from across the Atlantic that we were to help in the invasion of Iraq. im sure I bred this bitch ,ill have to check papers for Lucys pedigree name Macca......yes you did, since I picked her up as a pup from you and being my first Saluki she has taught me so much about the breed, wish I had had one years ago.....and money well spent as far as I'm concerned. Just wish she would come in to season during the summer instead of November/December though!

Have you got any of the photo's of the dogs racing?Be nice to see them Not get any prints but I'll have a look and see if I can find any negatives, with a lot of luck hopefully may still be at my parents!

Great thread! Used to go to Darnall in the 70's and take photo's of the dogs racing, a dog named 'Tom Jones' seems to stick in my mind for some reason, never had one till over 20 years later and then aqquired a bitch called 'Ruff & Ready' ('So Evil' x 'Cheeky Ann'), I had her for working and she was a super little bitch.
