  2. maybe you should probs get some instruction and do some fishing on stocked stillwaters first. salmon fishing is pretty hard and you might go for 5 days without a salmon. for trout on rivers i'd say probs a 4-6 weght rod and line and a light reel. for salmon fishing (depending on the size of the river) you will need: fly fishing: massive rivers:13-15ft large DH rod and weight 11-13 line large rivers:11-13ft DH rod and and weight 9 11 line med river: 9-11 SH rod with fighting butt and a 7-9 weight line small rivers: 8-10 SH rod with fighting butt and a 6 to 8 weight line. also check out
  3. go for six strand snares and not the cheap 8 or 7 strand snares with hairy green twine on them. then if you get woodgas dvd he can tell you how to make your own

  7. my brother is the tennat of the land and is just letting me hunt there. there is no farmland near by wich has crops. nad theres a group of shotgun shooters wich around the land wich the famrmers have given permission to. they blast everything that moves!

  9. yep but its only 1 small field and there are only about 7 (now 6!!) rabbits on it.

  11. yep i got my permission just by chansce. my brother (18) is the tenneant of this place and i went up to visit him. its a sort of aandoned old pepoles hoem wich he is on rent for really cheap and out of the 50 rooms he 1 of 6 wich live there. any way i noticed there was a few rabbits down there (not many as the ground is clay) so i set some snares. i went back to check um the following day and saw as i said 2bunnys miles away so i sat down and watched them. then..... (as i said before)
  12. under the age of 6 = toddler hunter over age of six and aged 12 or under= kid hunter over the age of 12 and ynder 17= teen hunter over the age of 17 and under 24= young hunter over the age of 24 and under 30= sort-of-young hunter over the age of 30 and under 45=adult hunter over the age of 45 and under 60= old hunter over 60= veteran hunter hope this help

  15. air arms field are good and accupell are accurate but after a long time of using them they wreck your gun.

  17. i just wanted to say anybody whos knew to this site and wants to know how to:make your own snares, make your own tealers, and set your snares, buy a copy of woodgas dvd. it is very good and well shot and you can obviously see he is a proffesianel snareman and a top guy. its only 17 pounds with p&p and its worth every penny. aaron p.s thanks again woodga for my copy of the dvd!
  18. how do you tan and dry a rabbit skin and stuff lke that as i want to make my rabbit skin suitable for giving as a gift. the rabbit was skinned sunday night and i have hung it up in a westerly facing tree with the skin up trying to dry it out. aaron
  19. went down to check the snares ,happended to have the airgun with me, and saw two rabbits over 100 yard away. i sat down in FT postition and watched them through my scope for a while then another rabbit popped out in front of me about 20 yards away and i shot it!
