  14. peanuts maze peantu butter. that sort of thing. and you dont need to conceal the tap just put a brick at the back end.
  15. nicked this idea from the airgun forum. i am holding a comp. all you need to do is to post a picture of what you catch with the date on a piece of paper in the picture . if the date is not in the picture your points won't count. it will also not count if the fish is out of season. the scoring will go as so: Game fish: rainbow and brownie (stocked) under 3 IBS: 1 point rainbow and brownie over (stocked) 3 IB: 2 point brownie under 2IB (wild): 3 point brownie over 2ib (WILD): 4 POINT grayling under 1 pound: 1 point grayling over 1 pound: 2 point sewin under 3 ib: 3 point sewin over 3
  16. worming?! rather catch 3 on a fly than 10 on a worm! still good bag though
  17. i know maple, beech and walnut work well. sorry but know nothing of tulip!
  18. at this time of the year look for rises. these are small splashes or dimplles on the surface of the river caused by trout and grayling coming up to intercept a fly wich has got caught in the surface film. if your not sure what fly they are taking then try an 'f' fly or an adams. these are general flys which cover loads of differnet flys. if you have caught one of the flys they are rising to then find a fly in your box wich matches that fly the most. if there not rising then try one or two of the following nymphs: goldhead hares ear, sawyers killer bug, pink shrimp, partridge and orange, pheas
