good shooting! i rmeber my first woody, in fact it was takn with a lightning xl just beech instead of tactical. don't give it to the ferrets. wod pgeon brest is really tasty!
what mag is you scope? i can give you a fuzzy smk 4x40 scope wih a few small scratches for £2 with postage.
but i have to warn you, its very fuzzy but will do the job.
i was jsut suprised how long it took for me to find an ansewr to my question, "what pattern should i put my decoys in?". i would not shoot something for no reason. i would not shoot if there was a highway right next to me.
a freind of my dads had machiene guns pointed at him (lazers on his head and the head of his wife!) and his family by poliece who thought he was a terrorist after finding some mmouldy drink and electrical equipment in his music studio claiming it was a bomb! he was chucked in prison over night and when the police finally reliesed what a cockup they made they releaced him without so much as a apology!
if you are starting with a spring gun then a lightntning xsl are a good choice
advantages: its light powerful comfortable to hold cheap (£340) and accurate. comes with silencer. is not pellet fussy
disadvamtages: a bit twangy when you fire it. and a litlte loud.
YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS BUT MY DAD FILMED MOST OF THAT!!!!! you'll see in the credits 'chris rushton' my dad works for the bbc as a filmer/editer. he had a great time filming from hoarse back.
if you havent got a lot of money to spend on scopes then i would highly recommend JSR scopes. the scope i have got from them is superb value for money. of coarse if you want a top end scope then go for one of the HWAKE scopes. the JSR scopes will cos you around £30 and HAWKE scopes about £60.
if you want to be pushing a pump up and down for 1/4 of an hour then its fine to use a stirrup pump. you usually use a stirrup pump for top ups. any good gun shop can give you a fill up from a dive bottle for £3 to £5 pounds.
