    Had the exact same problem with a .223 Contender Barrel. The woodwork and action is immaculate but the crown, (what there was of it) was identical to the photo! Like a mug I sent it away to be re-crowned with another gun shop. It will cost me £55.00 and now I am worried about the bore. The gun shop from which I bought the rifle is very well known and respected. I have always been satisfied with them in the past. It is probably to late, now, but I think I will have to go to them and get the rifle bore checked out, singing " What kind of fool am I" Glad you got sorted out. plus 1 for M

    Seven Litre air bottle for sale. In test until 2016 has new whip and connecters for Weihrach and Daystate.     Steve's Funeral service will be held at the; Holy Trinity Church, Church Road, Stoneclough, Radcliffe, Manchester, M26 1HJ on Thursday 7th August. at 1.00 pm after which the cremation will be attended by Family and friends Followed by the wake, which will be held at: the Pendlebury Social Club, 609 Bolton Road, Pendlebury, Swinton, Manchester, m27 4EJ later that afternoon. All are welcome at both the service and the wake. Come on lads and lasses, lets give Steve a great send off. Alan Tyer.

    Condolences to brave Debbie, having had her fight against the big C and now this. God bless Steve. Steve was a truly great coursing man, Terrier man and all round sportsman. As Templeking says, "One of the old school". A great Dog Man. R.I.P. Alan Tyer.

    I have acquired a 1kg container of N140. On the Vihtavuori website it states that N140 is suitable for the .223, but the only data I can find is for 60g bullets and above. The rifle I use is a Thompson Center Contender G2 single shot with a one in fourteen twist. Would a one in fourteen stabilise 60g and over bullets? Has anybody got data for a 50-55g bullet using n140? or should I sell it and get some IMR 4198?

    I don't have my camera , but any photo of a new Huntsman and that is the rifle that I am selling. I do not really want to sell but I need the money for the rimmy. I will sell face to face, so you can inspect the rifle before you buy. and if possible I will meet you half way at a reasonable distance..

    As above, I have for sale a mint Daystate Huntsman classic, it is .177 and has not yet fired a full tin of pellets. The only reason that I am selling is to finance a rim fire. My variation has come through and I want to buy the rimmy as soon as possible. I was offered £475.00 for it by the gun shop, but that is silly. For a quick sale I will sell it for £535.00. First to see will buy, but be quick!     As above a Weihrauch Hw100 for sale. Near Mint condition, comes with Quick fill,: Weihrauch moderator, Bipod, Busnell 3-9 scope and a fleece lined gun slip. This rifle has fired under 500 pellets, super accurate, 1/4 inch five shot groups at 35 Metres. If you want a top of the range PCP this is the one. £595.00
