    Good read that mate, yes i have heard thats where the greyhound gets is brindle markings from aswell, if that is the case then a bit of bull blood must go a hell of a long way, maybe something to bear in mind when breeding a dog of this type into our lurcher lines.

    beleave me i walk but a lamping dog has to do a few things not just walk it was early and it keeps em fit,wait till 12.30 when iam out again mate walking,mark but lurchers have to do everything there runing at half speed when working the landrover,mark Youre goin out again dont you give your dogs a rest noticed theres two dogs running them rabbits mate, dnt seem lamp shy either what exactly are you trying to prove to us all

    dont know why always thought the use of steroids was more for short explosive bursts of power more than endurance, plus the more muscle mass you carry the harder your heart and lungs have to work to deliver blood to them so that lactic acid doesnt build up, carnt see roids helping a coursing dog perform better more of a hinderance i would think, and for any dog for that matter.

    We all like to read peoples topics, seeing what they've caught looking at the pics of their catches and dogs, on different types of land etc, i for one enjoyed marks topics, at first, but then the way in which he started to post reflected his somewhat egotistical personality, with comments regarding his quarry as the hardest in the country, his constant reminder of his monthly catch total, his unsporting methods of catching his quarry (lamping hares), and the various brow raising comments which were obviously made to provoke a reaction from the forum, If by any chance he were a decent dog man
