    Hey up mate, yeh thats the one, dam bull greyhound 26inch, sire collie greyhound 25-26 inch, he should make a big dog mate, looks like hes gonna be leggy and racy, i take some better pics later. my pups standing at 21 inch now bud and she look nowear near as big as yours could just be the cam angle he looks a good strong pup mate get them pics up on that other forum we go on theyd like him thier Guy told me size mate but i will measure him myself later and i will get some better pics aswell,

    This is DUKE my old bitches new kennel mate, hes six months old just, hes 22 inch at the mo, looks to be a big dog, hopefully he will do the buizz retreiving bigger stuff aswell as the bunnies. Sorry about the poor pics, just a few quick snaps. Few new pics.

    Yes my mate freezes whole rabbits then defrosts and feeds them to his dogs, i think freezing them kills any worms they may have.

    Sorry to say that there is no beardie blood in those dogs. Border collie, fell collie if you like to call them that is the most recent collie used. Ooty pup is a brother to Bear, red dog was from earlier litter. Not what i was told when i brought mine, came with the papers and the breeding mate, the pup it boarder.

    I dont think that there will be many folks out there that have seen the collie blood in there lurcher working, after all they are herding cattle dogs bred to round up and box mainly cows and sheep so what would this prove regards hunting ability, not alot. You have got to look at the reasons why the collie was a popular choice for lurcher breeding, 1. They are very trainable. 2. They have good stamina. 3. They are agile and have fair speed. 4. They have good conformation and hardy feet. 5. Coat thickness. etc etc. These are the main reasons for using this cross, However they do posses there fa

    Yeh i see what your saying the dogs have to be clued up to keep with the hare amongst the cover, without losing it.

    Can the hares up there actually run in that stuff, not much of a test for your dogs is it, try running some real hares see how many you catch. read the post correct mate a was at a different bit,,,,your more than welcome to come for a run n try for yourself,,ma pup wll and has killed brown hares on flat parks mate its confident retrieving,,,they were all shot yeh ok mate, youd be better off with a spaniel up your end in all that heather, probably catch more than the lurchers as theyve got more nose.
