  1. Doesnt make a bit of difference to me what its feet look like,, if it does the job a kills what it should then thats that,,and yes pined feet will sink into soft plough and drain a dog fast.
  2. Never said all mate,, but a fair fair few have,, its deffo due to the bull blood as you dont see it so oftern in other crosses.
  3. So a saluki whch has spread feet carnt handle hard ground,,they run all types of terrain,, soft sand to hard stoney mountanious ground with half ender sized stone everywhere,, bull crosses feet will spread when standing still as therre heavier framed amnimals,,not sure its such a bad thing for the job they do,,if it was a straight track greyound and were after pure speed then yeah its a big fault, but for what there used for ! nah.
  4. You obviously just picking fault for nothing mate,,if it doesnt impare the dogs running ability whats the problem,,spread feet are better on soft groung or plough anyway as they spread the weight and stop the dog from digging in,, reason why saluki have spread feet for running on soft ground , sand..
  5. Saluki feet also spread,, so whats wrong with that how would this hinder the dog ?,,you class it a fault so please explain..
  6. Why what would you say is wrong with its feet mate ?
  7. uve actually no got a clue mate. you slagged a man off in another thread because his dog didnt look good enough in a picture which the guy proved you wrong, then your slagging another guy because his dogs are well at thereself and saying there lab crosses because they have thick tails and not a deep chest. a lurcher isnt born with a deep chest its builds it by working a walking. your bit of a idiot. should just keep your comments to yourself . wee sweety wife there bitching about everybodys dogs dogs look cracking mate. hope they do well for ye atb john Ok then fella if you
  8. Not being funny mate and dont take this the wrong way,,but that looks like a accident mating,, looks like a labradour has mated a lurcher bitch to me,,honest i know there only 5 months old but they should have a running dog shape starting to appear,, look at the thickness of there tails mate,, and lack of depth in the rib cage,,it wouldnt surpise me if thers lab in them... they look well all the same ,,good luck with then i hope they come good.
  9. Look out for a first cross collie x greyhound mate,,you wont go far wrong, its a safe bet ,,they will lamp well, work with ferrets well, and some do other stuff too, good alrounders mate, great first lurcher to have.
  10. problem is : they never got there to do it 1st , or the balls too ????
  11. Lol this thread is very entertaining,, the uks coursing blood lines are saturated in run of the mill saluki crosses and closer bred than them funny folk in the woods in THE WRONG TURN,, yet when someone takes grasps of things and brings in some new blood they get knocked about by some toffie nosed wannabe Knights of Arabia. This stock maynot be proven but theres only one way to find out and thats what the guys doing,,and good on him. At the end of they day its pure saluki blood of different type line,,the will have natural prey drive and unrelenting stamina,, so what is the problem ?
  12. lol,, nice one all the same ,, bully looking dogs there mate,,
  13. Youve never seen a good deerhound x greyhound then have you ! LoL yes i have seen plenty of good ones but as i said not my cup of tea, whats the mateer with all you lot to much hard work today or summit all on your f*****g period or summit! " If your a proper dog man you will know theres nothing out there that will compare to a bull x or weaton x on bigger game end of story" so you said,,,but this is not entierly true atall.

  17. yes i do have 2 other dogs which are 4 just because im new to this site doesnt mean im new to hunting Mate them pups are far to young to take out lamping,,you say that was the first time you took them out lamping but they hit squatters out of the seat first time out on the lamp ??? yeah ok,,,and if they did run, them dogs wouldnt be able to come to terms with em nevermind catch one,,,,Also are you sure them pups arent some kind of accident mating as they dont look very lurchery to me,, even for six months..
  18. I dont think there is anysuch thing as what youre trying to buy,,in the sense that why would someone sell such a dog,,and if they did for some funny reason decide to sell then they would be after a bit more than a grand.
