  9. They are guaranteed to affect your mpg I found out the hard way like most, they look the bollocks on the truck's though but to compensate for that I fitted a set of 18"alloys so there is more wheel on show
  10. Yes it will be mainly down to the tyres I used to run bf goodrich a/t on mine and I lost 5 mpg as soon as I fitted them and those have a much tamer tread pattern than the ones your using now fella,I don't do any crazy offroading with mine so I went back to pirreli scorpion allroad which put the mpg back up to what it was before, these are also nice and quiet on the road

    Dog clippers

Don't use clippers is the best advice ..................use proper coat stripping knives this will keep the coat in better condition as you are pulling the old dead hair out rather than cutting it off.It is more time comsuming but your dog will have a healthier more even coat if maintained this way
  16. I have had first cross collie greyhound's and found them to be good dog's one was slightly lacking in speed but she made up for it in other way's.I now own a first cross Kelpie Greyhound that in truth is a little to tall but has done everything that I have asked of him so far so I can't complain really. The argument of intelligence I think depends on what you want the dog for to start with and also what you expect as an owner from your dog, if you need a dog for trialling or obedience mainly then a colie cross or Kelpie cross will do the job for you as I don't think there is much between them ,
  17. All you can do is keep it clean mate, I have had dog's with bad rips but never stitched them as pulling the skin isn't always the best I.M.O. bathed once or twice a day with salt water will keep it clean and if the dog can lick it also this will help above all just rest the dog and keep a watchfull eye over ........tears can look really bad on times but unless the tear is into the muscle they usually come good in no time at all
  18. That's bad news mate she has done you proud ..............R.I.P. Nell All the best Mike
  19. Jesus ...........there's a new romantic's revolution :11: :11: or are we all just "rabble" :11: :11:
  20. Drontal plus every three months as normal no matter what you feed .............. Collie /Grey ...........you will need to feed much more than 2 chicken wings to a 23kg dog ............a rough guide I have a bitch that is 24" and 54 pound she gets one pound of best beef 2 slices of wholemeal bread ,6 oz of veg and oils as her basic everyday ration .I add to that bones two or three times a week and the odd whole chicken carcass if she has been doing a bit this keeps her in top shape but you will learn what is best suited to your dogs over the next few months
