  1. My Kelpie bith is 19" to the shoulder Neal I think her brother is 22" to the shoulder .
  2. You can see Jake working in that DVD that's out Chalkwarren, I think it's called Rabbiting Day's it's done by the same fella that did the Foxing one by day with the collie cross lurchers. Mike
  3. You are right about Krypto being the sire to mine and D.C.'s Kelpie Neal nut I beleive that Sleighty's dog is from another bloodline, I have two half cross Kelpie/Grey's out of this line of kelpie (my Ruby being the litter sister to D.C.'s dog )and am very pleased with what I have, they suite my needs, I wouldn't get into the my cross is better than your cross argument with collie crosses but all I will say is they ARE different
  4. Cheers Mike, took the plunge about 3 weeks ago, put a mix of 50/50 running ok, no problems yetnd ive topped up evey week since.. Where are you getting your oil from fella ? is it used or new ? Mike
  5. I have run my Pajero on straight veg oil mixed with the diesel and as long as I don't go over a 60 -40 diesel to oil mix I do't get any problems, I have had to reduce the mix of oil in the winter due to the cold weather thickening the oil and starting up was a bit more rattley. I don't run on oil anymore due to the price but if I could get it cheap then I would do for sure, It's also great to get your car through M.O.T. as it reduces the emissions BIG STYLE I would check out any landrover forums to see if there are any possible problems before I put it in fella, I have been a member of the p

    DVD REVIEW

Watched this film on the weekend and agree that the quality of filming is excellent and thought it to be entertaining and well put together, much better than the bloody x factor.......
  10. They look bloody nice pups there Gav.
  11. I am thinking of putting bf goodrich a/t 's on and would be going up in size from 255/55/18 to 265/65/18 does anyone know how much difference this could make to the fuel consumption? Is there a way to calculate the difference in rolling radius and would this affect the speedo because the speedo is taken of the box not cable driven. Thanks Mike
  12. I have two hob polecat kits surplus, they are around 12 weeks old and are good to handle. Out of good working lines they are £5 each and are in South Wales Thanks Mike

  18. Yes the dog is still for sale,it's not me selling her as the add say's it's a friend of mine .
  19. When I bred a litter last year I was trying to figure out which way to choose the pup I wanted, I watched the pups for hours and I mean HOURS I wanted to make sure I chose right but in the end the pup I chose had a mutual liking for me . She was the first to climb out of the bed the first to come to me when called the most dominant pup in the litter including the dog's and the tallest finest built of the bitches, but mostly she was the only one that wagged her tail when I picked her up and talked to her (she did this from 3 weeks old ) this meant to me she had already bonded well with me
  20. I don't know the answer to that one Neal, my Kelpie bitch is the litter sister to Cody's father so there shouldn't be much diference genetically speaking, both parents of each litter fall into the correct sizes for the breed but who can tell genetics is a funny thing. I haven't heard anything about the farmers I'll have to ask about Mike
  21. No I don't think it's made a lot of difference but the litter I bred does seem to be slightly smaller, my bitch being 23" and a dog from the litter that I have seen is around the 25" mark where cody's litter were a bit bigger. I will have to see if there are any other differences as she gets older but to date they are identical even down to reactions to different things wierd but good lol . All the best Mike
  22. Took a few updated pics of my pup today she's a bugger to try and get a good pic of always on the move anyway here she is The big fella however is one big poser Mike
