  3. my first pet dog was male who could read me and almost knew what i was going to do before i did! he was as loyal as you get, but no dog could replace him, working dog wize i gell better with bitches. i have a mature bitch and a 15 month old bitch pup both work well, having said that the brother pup is much more effectionate and responds very nicely to voice so in time who knows,,, i think it depends on the dog and your relationship with the individual rather then the sex of the dog but its also human nature to have a prefence and mine is i'd choose a bitch over a dog but i'm happy with th

  6. i'm based in lincolnshire, i have a jill ferret that i want lined as need to replace ferret numbers due to kits being stolen last year. hob ferret must be a worker and in good condition, i'm happy for my jill to board with hob until the deed is done or vica versa, colour isn't an issue at all, just a good worker, sound temperment and healthy,,,,,small order i know! lol thank you for reading Annemarie x x x

  8. hi everyone i've recently moved near gainsborough in lincolnshire and i'm looking for advice on which foxhound packs to follow. i'm looking for one where the hounds work well and have welcoming hunt supporters. i am missing the people from the hound pack i followed in suffolk and i love watching the hounds work i look forward to replies and many thanks happy hunting xxxx

  13. the pups are looking in top condition, a welcome change from some examples of pups we sometimes see in this site,, enjoy them as they mature, the time will soon pass!! i have a pair of pups by bigland boy and i have absolutly no complaints at all wish all the pups best of luck in very good working homes, they deserve no less!!   14. hi mate we've had debates about poodle type lurchers,, if its from a decent working standard poodle then i'd say the makings of a good dog there,, is this one of the pups advertised in countryman's weekly a while ago also you've forgotten to mention age of pup, house dog or kennel, area look forward to seeing these photos all the best with the sale xx

  20. I am absolutly fuming!!! how can a program thats meant to represent the countryside be against traditional fieldsports that have been happening for years! I admit there are people involved with working dogs who bring the side down i.e dispatching and leaving for public etc this isn't what most like to do, but sadly in every aspect of life there will always be feckers to drag the side down, most of us look after our dogs more then ourselves, take pride in their health and well being and go out of our way that their diet fitness etc is top notch, i hope we can continue hunting rabbits well a

  22. dell i would love to see what the rest of the litter look like,, the bitch is much heavier set then the dog but both look the image of bigland boy once you've loaded your photos onto photobucket, click on the photo you with to show, you will see an orange box with four rows of writing, highlight the bottom one and copy it, then paste it into a topic on hunting life hope this helps xx
