years ago the land was hopping with rabbits. I could easily shoot 100 and still get more the next Sunday. but now there scarce. same for the grouse. We had so many when i was young. hard to find plenty of hares now as well. you could see 20 hares in a field easily. also I remember playing with the corncrake chicks as a child. Joe

Thats the stuff. I have been down a bog hole or two in my lifetime as well.
-

-
Any ye take the hounds out onto the bog. I dont mean brittish moorland but proper bog like we have in abundance here in Ireland . How well did the dogs run?
-
I think your ferrets would smell like fox but meat is meat. make sure the fox isnt too diseased . Joe

Looks like good craic. a very nice location to hunt as well. Why do ye lads where a uniform, just curious?
-

another question for you, sorry. What type of hound is that? A racer or coursing bitch? She looks small. what height is she? Your half hound came out good and racy. Joe
-
Thanks. She turned out well. Joe Kelly

That is a fine lurcher. Out of curiousity do youhave any pictures of her collie stud or dam ? Joe Kelly

If you had a standard Schnauzer cross standard Poodle from good working parents proven in the field and police work then it may make a good decent working cross breed. I would think. but I think what you saw was the result of a scam to sell puppies . Joe Kelly

good shooting and nice terrier. I wish we had that amount of game where I live. I would never shoot a hare though. Good luck. Joe Kelly
