Yes i did speak to steve,Dave and he did tell me about the problem with his dog. He also told me the dog had to go because of it. My point was only to suggest maybe because of this bad luck,Steve will now have to go through another Dog again to try and get what he realy wants. Who knows it could even take a few more attempts after that. Therefore that would then put him the catergory of someone whos had to go through 3 or more to get what he wants. Ironically, exactly what cooperman was on about in his first post. Now i can train a pup and enter it as good as any man......but i still cant gua

Im glad you got what you wanted Dave . And your time and effort is paying off. Just enjoy it though mate cus you never know you might have to go through 3 or more to get another the same...even with a special one giving you the right advice. Not even Good advice though can prevent a canine sometimes having a bit of a problem that can be annoying at times . By the way.....hows your mate "S" pup doing out of the same litter???? Did he put time and effort in and get what he wanted? And...Oh.....i almost forgot?...welcome back Vimmy....ive missed ya matey! Lamps

THE DOORS lyrics - "The End" This is the end Beautiful friend This is the end My only friend, the end Of our elaborate plans, the end Of everything that stands, the end No safety or surprise, the end I'll never look into your eyes...again Can you picture what will be So limitless and free Desperately in need...of some...stranger's hand In a...desperate land Lost in a Roman...wilderness of pain And all the children are insane All the children are insane Waiting for the summer rain, yeah There's danger on the edge of town Ride the

yes mate...a nice C6 ....could of been a bit better marked though mate. I kept a little eye on this nest and it was nice to see out of the 6 it got 5 branchers. last egg stayed in the nest. Ill be honest...i have a bit of a love hate relationship with Sparrowhawks.I have nothing but admiration when watching one hunt in the wild. Then again the ones that come in the garden after my British ... can do my head in sometimes. My mate was recently caught with over 800 Eggs. Ive been trying to find out how he got on when he went to court but ive had no luck as yet and nobody seems to of heard anything of him. He was caught in northhumberland and was down as having an address there, even though he's ironicly from near Coventry. I know there now giving custodial sentences for Egg Collectors....just wondered if was put inside. all i can find on him is this............ http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/evening...-name_page.html Anybody up that way heard owt? Excellent pics lads...........looks a real handy type of Collie. I reckon over a greyhound that type of Dog could produce a Handy sort of Lurcher. Lamps...

Well Alfie is nearly 8 months now and training wise he's doing real fine. Ive got him to a good standard of obedience and im confident i can now start to put a bit of presure on his young mind. Anyway this afternoon i took him, along with the Falcon to do a bit of shooting and hopefully get a couple of retrieves for him. walking tight against the hedge into the first field with him nicely at heel i soon spotted our first shot sat out about 30 yards away. A click of my fingers and young Alfie was now in the sitting position. I raised the gun putting the cross hairs where i wanted them, then slo

Thought id put a couple of pics of my Pup for everyone to laugh at :11: . "Alfie" is around the 7.1/2 month mark now and standing about 23".He is out of a 22" Whippet/Greyhound Dam and a working Border Collie Sire. Training wise i couldn't be more pleased and the young fella is doing everything im asking of him. He's turning out a bit bigger than i expected,i thought he'd only finish out about 21" .. shows how much i know . I took these pics yesterday while giving him some practice in his retrieveing from water. Lamps...

Dingo dancer......over the years ive had the pleasure of seeing a good few of the Dogs in your bitches line work. Thays tammy was probably the ugliest Bitch ive ever seen and also a useless bitch out in the field. This Dog was also a field trial winner. Wrights Jewel was also a fieldtrial winner and nothing speacial out in the field either. Infact this little bitch was rather accident prone and her life was cut short after breaking the same leg twice. Before this happened though she did produce a litter by snelsons Billy who was a genuine 1/2 x Border Collie/Greyhound. Now this Dog was Spe
