not an ibizan hound but my sisters got a pharaoh hound that would have made a good rabbiting dog. it was just a pet but it was always bringing back bunnies live to hand, she couldnt handle it and sold it, id have liked to have kept it but my dog doesnt get on with other dogs

wont happen if the dogs trained properly. my old bull x (r.i.p.) was fine, i worked it but the missus loves taking it to do agility and all that fancy heel work stuff. he was an angel on the lead. im going through the same process of training my new one as i did the old and he will turn out the same. at training the misses says he out preformes the german shepard and the collie which are both his age and both arent very good with other dogs, which contradicts the aggresive, stupid bull breed which most people like to assume they are. hes got a good nose , as did the old dog and they both h

How many of you would get a Lurcher from a rehoming centre?
adskibullus replied to Hollie's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
i would my sister works for a rescue centre thats only for lurchers and greyhounds. thet get a lot of dogs through that have confiscated by the police when they have caught people poaching or from gypsy sites so you can get some good workers from them. most of the dogs become pets though even if they come from a working back ground. i borrow her suluki cross somtimes (to help teach my dog) its a good rabbiting dog. you only have to make a donation if you have a dog from this rescue they ask for 100 pounds but some tight b*****ds give alot less. -
the guy i work withs from lithuania he says they do it there but with german shepards. he says they do it to sell them to rich guys with more money than sence. he rekons most of the time the gsd never make it back but if they do if the pups are born with black tounges then you know that a wolfs shagged it.

you still get the old types of bullies in pakistan and india there called gull terr's. they have been bred the same since they were imported there when we owned india.

i hate to be the one to tell you , but whatever running dog you have will have a trace of bull in it. whether it a greyhound or whippet . both have at one time no matter how long ago have bull blood in its genes. not every bull cross owner is the same either nor are bull crosses. im sure every family has the occasional physco in it. does that mean every member of that family is physco? youve obviously never owned a bull cross. theyre level headed, keen to please, faithfull dogs.rember tonight to thank lord orford and the whippet racers for making your lurchers that bit better i remember re

who has a bull x to look hard.... NOBODY, if people wanted to look hard they would get rottweilers. real pits not lurchers. moron! my bull x is used on rabbits as pest control so they dont dig burrows in my horses field and break its legs. alright theres better dogs for this job but i like bull breeds so what? i first cross bully would be to hyper active for me so mixed with a greyhound it makes a good chilled out pet aswel as a practical dog to have around the yard, bull x's are excellent with kids and know to be very people friendly which is a bonus for when people come onto the yard to see

stunning dogs, strapping dog the red one bet it flies, my sisters got a suluki x grey a good dog but if another dog runs away from it, it will attack it even if it knows the dog. just tries to kill anything that runs.

pits are not only extremly game but are also the athlete of the dog world they will put 110% into everything they do. ridgebacks are show dogs in this country and youd have to go all the way to south africa to get a good one. they fall into the same catagory as mastiffs in this country.... ruined.
