  5. Yeah Neil you hit the nail on the head there. Ive had to do more work with her on her attitude than her sister. When the weather gets warm enough Il give her a good stripping she look very different I think.
  6. shes still only a pup, shes about 18 months or so. Have it written down some where the dates.. The pic doesnt show her true size. If you seen her in the flesh shes a lump
  7. cockerxpatterdale, I was thinking the terrier would maybe bring a little size down. I was surprised that this thing wouldnt stop growing. Shes huge to what I thought she would have turned out size wise. not a bad little pup, coming along lovely

  11. starlings threading yesterday on roof of the house
  12. a good jab up the arse might make ur dog run faster either that or a slap on the bollocks lol I remeber when we where kids a fella saying if you wanted to get a bit of speed out of a donkey he said stick half an onion up its arse, maybe old wives tail.Never tried it so cant confirm if it works lol
  13. DC,I think that depends on where you live and how you keep your dogs, all the lads that I've seen with parvo in their kennels have also been knee deep in sh*te and even after burning and replacing everything they've still had it back years later even after the jabs, look at Plummer he was a scruffy dirty bast**d,lost whole litters and adult dogs to it, I know lads in North Wales that kept kennels that were always sh*t high and it ravaged them, same in Crewe, the list is endless, keep clean kennels and feed the best and you will have the best out your dogs, mine live in these days and they are o
  14. I paid 60 euro for a mongrel and shes all jabbed up correctly so she doesnt get any unwanted diseases out the fields. Now I seen a clip of a greyhound racing programme a couple of years ago.1 lad reconed he paid 40,000pounds for his dog.How true that is I dont know. I wouldnt think owners of very valuable dogs wouldnt jab them up against potentially lethal diseases that could kill ther valuable dogs.If I do it for a 60 euro dog cant see anyone not doing it for a dog worth thousands.
  15. If the fella was that good at the grey hounds why didnt he stop jabbing his dogs so they would run faster and winn races with them running faster. How many trainers are there, how many greyhounds have been practically tested this way and proven that when they where jabbed they ran slower. Did they run slower for the rest of there lives or did the effects of the jabs slowing the dogs down wear off. Did the trainer still race his slowed down dogs or was he winning races with these slower dogs.
  16. Maybe see if he has a relative of her to do a line breeding with? Best chances of getting something similar to her then the kids got me an up to date phone, one of those touch screens, lost alot of numbers so i cant ring him. part of the reason i put the post up here so he could get to see it. hopsfully he comes on soon.
  17. Thats sounds a good cross. Im waiting on word from a friend who knows her breeding to see if theres anything similar to her around to breed to her.
  18. Shes a good little bitch thats what the dilema was aswell will I breed her and have her breeding passed on or just buy in a pup and take a chance that way. Shes worth breeding from how she performs at what I do with her
  19. shes a grand little bitch, without me getting my wires crossed on the breeding in her. Big boots of here knows the breeding. Her dam is a full whippet. So im better waiting on him to come on and he can say more or less what in her. He had her grand dam and his mates dog was the grand sire. A son out of them 2 where put to the full whippet to get my bitch. Hopefully he will come on soon and put his imput in on the breeding going back without me making a mistake.
  20. well if your happy with her, and she doing business go for it, for 1st litter I wouldn't leave it any longer, but a lad on here bred from is bitch who was 8 year old, but he said he thought bit young would been better Ive been onto a couple of lads, just waiting on feedback to see if I can get the right sire now. The lads no the breeding in the bitch so hopefully source some of it to go back to her.
