  1. My 2 boys and I where out ferreting today with foxhunter and his daughter. Hardcore is an under statement when it comes to foxhunter.I seen a different way of getting stuck in today. Sorry I left the camera in the bag with the picnic for the 2 boys.I have no photos. Brilliant day all round. A bit of an eye opener. Thanks foxhunter for haveing us down.ATB Ray and sons.
  2. he's a nice type of dog mate whats his breeding? The people that own the parents mainly show the pups da. A fella down in Cork bred the parents.Theres a couple of people saying some of my pups half sibblings on the fathers side of things are doing well at what they are bred for. I cant confirm this as I havent seen them go.Some of the dogs on his papers have names such as Feohanagh Mutton Jack , Ballyfoyle Banrion ,Threetrout Scooby , Shannon of Gerrardstown, Pretty maiden, Feohanagh Buachaill Deas. His parents are Knockroe Big Boy(sire) Knockroe Adventure(dam).

  5. I had to send some pics of my pup to a fella in Belgium today. He has the brother and wanted to see how my pup was growing. He is 6 and a half months. With the help of a really good bloke of this forum he might get to see what he was bred for. That is when he is older.
  6. Hi if the pup digs his heels in and wont budge, when he does this and your saying good boy and that to try and encourage it to walk.If your timeing is wrong the pup will think your saying good boy and that as a reward to digging its heels in.This will make it harder to get him to stop. If he walks 30 ft and digs his heels in,only walk him 20 ft and turn back before he digs his heels in. Ive experienced with pups like that,if you bring it for a walk with another dog can help. As a last resort you could bring the pup to where there is a grass surface and drag it a little and see how it gets on.Th

  8. The son was out with his ferrets and look at what he caught
  9. The little fella is hooked. He hasnt stopped going on all day about it. Great experience for him and myself. You might have to addopt him and move him in.

  12. The little I know about mange is ,if a dog has mange and its not treated the hole lot of the dog will end up bald and in bits.Dogs that work hard and regular do get little bald patches.I had a dog that sat on his tail and got a bald patch from that aswell. Not all bald patches are mange.
  13. Nice pup hope you do well with it.

  19. Try introduceing the dogs backwards, arse to arse but not touching each other.Any signs of growling or barking. As soon as the dog starts to growl at the other check the dog.Just jerk the lead.Sit the dogs down back to back but not touching each other.Every time you even see the dogs about to growl or go for the other dog.Jerk the lead and give the dog a command like stop or no.After a couple of minutes you will see a difference.
  20. Its nice to get out and get a couple of rabbits.Keep up the good work.
