Hi Kay hope your well, all the above dogs are fox hunters. The little fella with the glasses in the hole and the ferret in his hand are mine. I think my son was thinking he is a terrier getting into the hole. Good fun.

Hi These 2 little terriers of fox hunters are great with the ferrets. When they hear the ferrets bell they even move out of the ferrets way. Very clued in little dogs. The above lurcher is only young. He has only come ferreting a couple of times with us. After a couple of mins and 2or 3 times the ferret in and out of the holes he was broke to them. He is proveing to learn very quickly.

Sorry to hear about your son John and I hope he gets well soon. I have 5 kids myself and we could have lost our 4 year old son last year in hospital.We where very lucky. In fox hunters defence,Ive been around this man regularly the last few months. He is very straight. My experience around Dave and his family are they are honest and kind people. Hi p***y you could be right. The big bitch with the red nose. The IKC reg breeders call them a dudley. She is nearly 16 inches tall.The fella that bred her and sold her to me said she was from 2 IKC reg parents,because shes a dudley I would get no papers and could I keep his name from breeding the dog.I got her cheep.He wasnt into putting her down as a pup. There could be something else in her. The male pup on both sides are IKC reg I have papers for him. A fella in Cork called aomin dobbin bred the mother and father of my pup.With some of these breeders they do tend to breed in different dogs

Im learning the sad reality of the Glenn myth. To be honest with you Ive come accross a lot of breeders that will tell you the parents of there pups will do this and that just to sell you a pup. They wont.There is probably a small few. I have 2 young Glenns.A bitch that will be 2 this summer. She can be good some days ferreting and other days shes not interested. Ive stopped that in anyway. Ive met up with a crazy man (fox hunter) hopefully the bitch gets a cance to prove something next season coming. The other Glenn is 1 year this summer.He got a little look and showed a little interest. He m

Hi the Malinois are a great dog. We used them over the years for mixing with other breeds for agility ,obedience and guard work. Not everyone knows but with Malinois they can suffer from fits at any time up to the age of 3 years.If you are buying pups from a Malinois make sure that adult of the pups are 3years or over. Its not a frequent occurance but its in the breed.Hope I dont offend,just passing on a little info. ATB Ray

St Paddys day is the last day for fox hunter. Yes he had me out with him again. I had to dragg him out of the fields. He wouldnt stop ferreting.The day started well, we has 3 rabbits very quickly.Then things seemed to be a bit weird going. We got up to 11 rabbits by lunch time. After lunch we had a little burst and where up to 15 or 16 very quickly again. It seemed to lull a bit.I felt thats all we where going home with.Just one of those days. Then we got into this little field and got up to the 20 we set out for. Then fox hunter kicked in.He says its still early lets get some more.So we heade

We where out again today with foxhunter and his son.We had a good day again. It was like a summers day.We where out for a couple of hours.Ferrets and dogs done well. great little fella for marking up the holes This fella is only young but he is doing well The other lurcher sandy very fast,she is brilliant at long runs. A few of the diggs we done today.The little fella in the hole is 7 foot 9 inches tall.

Sorry about the delays back. Most rabbits we dug too, a couple bolted for the lurchers. The lurchers dont miss many bolter. Most days they whip up every bolter. Its rare they miss.

A friend of mine gave me a good idea for a topic. OK who is able to ferret like the topic says,without locators and nets. What is your success rate.
