Hi Grahm is that the patterdale x Glenn in that pic. If it is what percentage of Glenn is in it. How old and what is it dog or bitch.ATB Ray Alright Raymond that's a bitch she's about 2and a half she's a first x out of a glenn bitch to a patterdale dog a hard fcuker, to be honest a bit to hard for more my liken She didnt get too big for a first cross. Did you breed the sire as the patterdale for a reason instead of the sire being the Glenn, just curious. Shes a nice bitch.

Check inside the dogs mouth for something lodged in his teeth , gums and pallet.

I had to do it recently with a Glenn bitch and 2 pups. She had to be sectioned and when she came through from the drugs, she was all groggy and wanted to eat the pups. I took the pups of her.I kept them in a box with a heat math under kitchen roll. There was a good few layers so the kitchen roll would absorb urine and stop the pups getting burnt of the heat mat. What I done was every 2 hours take the pups out of the box.I would lie the bitch down and hold her while the pups suckled. Some times I would have to hold the bitch down for an hour or so at a go. 2 hours later from taking the pups of her

ah the poor thing, i wonder what your old pal countryboyo would have to say about your pup, with all his wisdom and experience. hes a strong looking pup. What weight is he do you know. He is 21 Kg. Whatever happened to Countrybucko I wonder? there was some laughs when he was around.Id love to see your pup when hes fully grown and mature. He will make one power house.

The best dogs and dog man I was lucky to be envolved with. The man worked and works hard, just how he works and tests his dogs.

Yeah there grand things to go.They are slow maturing breed.Well worth waiting for I think.

Thats an otter hound, nah just joking. Years ago a fella I knew well had a wheaten and the red in its coat was stronger and redder than the shade of red in yours. The colour wheaten goes from the lightest to the reddest. You get it in Glenns aswell.Theres loads of different shades of wheaten colour. It looks a strong dog.Good luck with him.

Hi tinytiger, its still ok to dock your pups. The thing is the IKC is working on getting people to stop docking all breeds that are being docked. Most people breeding kc dogs are leaving tails, the thing is that when showing your docked breed with a tail the judges are going to start leaning towards the dogs that are left with a full tail. So if you have a Glenn with a tail when showing and a Glenn docked, the judge will go more for the dog with the tail. These humanitarians and animal cruelty heads want docking to stop. Crufts are hoping that in a couple of years that every dog being shown will

did you expect him to turn out broken coated when you picked him mate? nice dog she looks smooth enough at 6 weeks in the pics, but live you could make out the bits of rough coat. She is still only a pup.I dont think she will get much bigger than what she is.She is staying more on the dams side which is a full whippet.Ive been told her brothers are alot bigger. Im happy with her and cant wait to get her out ferreting.

Get One of those dog cage crate things, put the dog in it. Place the crate under your bedroom window. When the dog howls pour a pot of water out the window over him. only pour the water over the dog while its howling.Dont let the dog know its you throwing the water out the window. Do this a few times and at the right time the dog will stop. You could have the dog in his pen in the crate, get a 2 litre plastic milk carton. hang it over the crate in his pen and get a long lenght of string, fix it to the bottom of the milk carton in a way that when you pull the string it tilts the milk carton and p

I dont mind them with the rabbits as the lurchers are getting a few runs on them. I must admit I thought they might only hunt rabbits, as theres loads where I go. They do like to hunt the fox and hare better. Some difference in them when they are on fox and a hare.

I was out a few times with a few lads, good bit of crack. Where I go would be a bit handier to get to for me. Its expensive traveling all the time. I had some good long hunts with them.Very enjoyable. On a good day they put 4 foxes out for me. To many spots to cover with lurchers.I might be lucky this winter.

Hi Scent, I have them since they are pups. They hunt foxes fairly well. The land I hunt I think it doesnt really suit beagles. They put everything out, rabbits, pheasants. They hunt hare and fox.I have been just unlucky not to get a few foxes last season with them.I was on my own with a lurcher. If there had of been a few lads spread around the place we would have got a few foxes.Theres a big difference in the tongue when they are on rabbits or foxes. The princess one started of with a terrier hunting so she probably hunts a little different. The foxy beagle which is the younger hunts differnt in

When you look at it, these modern day human athletes havent been bred best athlete to best athlete for generations to produce the top human athletes of today. So maybe diet, advanced training methods and some luck in the genes department has produced these human. When you look at all the shit athletes out there could it be a numbers thing aswell. Not saying this is fact but some food for thought.ATB Ray -
