Thanks bib. There being fed 3 times a day by me since they are 3 weeks. Wormed every 2 weeks. I find when you feed the pups it gives the bitch a bit of a break. At 6 weeks the bitch will be in better condition and so will the pups. Well thats been my experienceATB Ray

Your right there one looks smoother than the other. The one to the right looks like a furball in the flesh. The pics dont do them justice.

Change the dogs food to redmills racer. Alot of glenns get hotspots and one of the things thats proven to work in them is what I just said. What ever is in the food or what ever isnt in the food. It works.Ive done it.

fine looking dog did you breed him yourself mate No I didnt. Ive a daughter out of him. I know hes young, but Im hoping it works out. Shes showing good instincts for the age she is. I took a chance with this fella and so far its going grand. best part of 2 years is a long time to wait to start doing things with them. I got 2 pups out of the breeding and kept them. I will see how the daughter fairs of in a few years and hopefully put a working glenn over her and run on a few pups for myself and get a few generations under my belt of glenns that are doing some work. I am very interested to see

Only for my eldest daughter and my youngest sone keeping the Glenn dog and the half whippet I would have had none. They were all going. Just home from a bit of ferreting. The half whippet done grand for her first time. She is very soft mouthed with the rabbits. Glenn dog is doing grand and the misses owns my glenn bitch pup untill she is old enough to work. She is thinking of showing her. I dont mind as I have to wait in anyway on her to mature a little. I have a glennX patterdale pup , she is 3 weeks at the minute. The fields I go to Im kind of itching for a working type cocker, might suit the

Thats it, when I buy a pup or dog I will do what I want with it.I paid my money. The way I do things on a personal level is I would get back in touch with the breeder and give them the oppertunity to buy it back first. I would not pay for something with expectations on it. As regard being gifted a pup, I dont have to be told or asked will I give the pup back. If youve been around the right people that goes without saying. Everytime I would give the breeder first chance to take it back and I wouldnt charge them for the keep and time I put into it,weather it was 6 weeks or 6 years I had it for.I

Do people use vitamin E aswell Do you ? Yes I find it is very good in the healing process. I use the warm salty water. If its a deep wound I use the barrel of a suringe.I put the warm salty water in the barrell and squirt it into the deep wound to flush it out. I do this 3 times a day for 3 days. The next 3 days after I flush the wound,I put good old sudocreme on the wound for a couple of day. The wound will tell me what to do after the first few days. After 5 to 6 days of the above I let the wound dry up. I give vitamin E200 twice a day depending on size and weight of dog. I give th

Is she a Glen? A friend has something similar that i bred last year-im heading out with him tomorrow, ill take a few pictures of him if i can get a lend of a camera. no lad she's a wheaten shes the spitting image of a glen dog that a friend of mine has-hes by mcgeoghans bran. They were all the one breed one time id say The misses has a glenn bitch pup, shes a grandaughter of mcgeoghan bran. A friend of mine has a son of mc geoghan bran and they kind of have the look of Grahams bitch al right. Good spot tinytiger. -

Just a friends pups eyes are opening at 9 days. I bred 2 glenn pups a few months ago and it was nearly 3 weeks before eyes start opening. Them glens are lazy b*****ds,lol, only messing Raymond, that sounds like a long time for pups to open there eyes, usually 10.12 days. Your not far wrong, they can be lazy shits alright. I was thinking the section the bitch had might have something to do with it.She might have been sectioned early. The lazy shits took ages to start walking aswell.People say glens can be slow developers, these pups where starting to take the piss

The under shot is a recessive gene, the genes have to match up to throw the physical signs of undershot. My only problem with under shot is the parents carrying the gene that have perfect mouths, are they not faulty themselves as they carry the gene. They just dont have the physical appearance of undershot. My oppinion is once the dogs teeth are healthy I couldnt give a shit undershot or scissor. If the show people decided undershot was nicer than scissor all show dog would be undershot. There are some show breeds the undershot thing is decireable.

How old and what is it dog or bitch.ATB Ray Alright Raymond that's a bitch she's about 2and a half she's a first x out of a glenn bitch to a patterdale dog a hard fcuker, to be honest a bit to hard for more my liken She didnt get too big for a first cross. Did you breed the sire as the patterdale for a reason instead of the sire being the Glenn, just curious. Shes a nice bitch. she was just bred to a very good patterdale to bring the size down a bit i really like the glenns but i find
