Thanks lads for your replies.Delighted.The young lad swapped his couple of noisey hens for these younger ones. The funniest thing happened when we got a load of 6 to 7 week old chicks.The fella said they where all hens.Well 4 or 5 turned out cocks to our laughter as they indivdually matured and started to cock a doodle doo. Im in the middle of a council estate and most the neighbours kids are all grow up and moved out.Thanks again.ATB Ray

there gone thank god, the only thing now is to wait and see if the new ones turn out hens, swapped for 6 that are 7 weeks old.The fella recons there hens. 2 rode island reds,3 light sussex and a buff sussex.The youg lad was delighted pickinh out his new chicks. The quiet now is lovely.I can enjoy my birds singing again.

Have a couple of hens there for the young lad,he gets a few eggs of them. Why do they get so noisey. The last few days they are getting noisier everyday.Drive ya mental.Is there anyway to quiet them down a bit.

Ive come accross alot of weirdos in the bird world. Dont mind the shit. Stick with the men that treat you right. Some good people in the bird world, stick around long enough to find them and most of all enjoy your birds.

I only put them up on the site to give someone the oppertunity of a pup with working Glenns in them. The crap and expenses I went through just to get mine, so I was saving people alot of effort they would have went through to get one
