Thats tiny, the biggest bald patch if you want to call it that I cured with savlon was a mastif cross. She was huge, the old lad that had her was ignorant. The dog was at least 60% covered in mange. You want to see the dog within a week. The old lad couldnt believe it. No other products where used. Aldi sell a package of dish wasing sponges for about 1 euro. Use the sponge side not the green rough side. It will cost a couple of euro for a small bottle of dettol or savlon in the supermarket. Within the week if you look close you will see the little brissles of hair growing back. Just be carefull

Sorry I should have said using a sponge to rub the savlon or dattol or TCP solution. Rubb it in hardthanks for the reply buddy. Whats tcp?You can buy it in the chemist, it does loads of things. You dilute it with water and put it on teenage spots. bee stings. Theres a list of things on the packaging to what it does and how much water to add or not. Some people have used it as mouth wash. It reminds me of the smell of a hospital. Its strong stuff, great stuff it isgoogle TCP anticeptic solution. Theres a list of stuff it covers. The 3 products are antiseptic products, there not prescribed for m

TCP has cured mange otherwise I wouldnt say it. Ive used it more that once with no other products successfully and other people I told to use it. It does work. Dipp your sponge in the TCP solution and rubb hard into the bald spot 3 times a day. If you dont have TCP, Ive also used dettol or savlon the exact same way and it cured the mange. I didn t hear about this Ive done it. Give it a go I bet you within the week the hair will be on its way back

For years before I came accross the vaccinations in the chemist, the local vet vaccinated the dogs. The vet always started with the first jabb at about 10 weeks and every 2 weeks after that untill the course was finished so Ive experienced both sides of the coin. Ive never experienced any dogs done either way suffer from anything they where innoculated against. I once and luckily enough only once in 30 odd years experienced parvo. It was in a litter of pups about 5 weeks old still with the bitch. The bitch was about 6 year old jabbed at 6 weeks and never a booster. Yeah the local vet milked my

Some good reading. I think the debate on dog vaccinations will go on for years. I remember as a kid the old lads at the time debating weather to jab the pups or not. Some boys didnt jab there pups and they lived long and happy lives. Ive experienced difference of oppinions from different vets. In the last at least 15 years id say or more I havent given any pups a course of needles. It has either been the 5in1 or 7in 1.Im getting a pup for my son in a couple of weeks and it will be jabbed with an 8in1 the breeder said.So for years now as soon as I got a pup be it 6 weeks or 8 weeks old they hav

I remember years ago you brought your pup to the vet for its first jab about 10 weeks old the next jab was about 2 weeks later and the last jab about 2 weeks after that. Then I came accross the cheaper way by getting the 5in 1,sometimes it was 7in 1 in the chemists. I was doing it this way for myself and other dog owners for years now and have never had any problems with both opptions. Both options in my experience have worked perfect. I had a bitch for 14 years and never gave a booster. Ive never given any dogs Ive owned boosters with no problems. Theres always been difference of opinions from

Ring worm is not a worm its a fungal skin problem. You need to attack the fugus and stop the spread of the spores. Wash everything down with strong bleach. You can dab undiluted bleach on the fungus, dry it of and apply canestine cream. That way you are hitting the fungus with 2 products. A member replied earlier that if you have the skin dissorder diagnosed incorrectly all the antifungal treatment wont cure it if its not fungal. Ivomectin wont work on a fungus.

the get will give you a antifungal shampoo called maliseb but I will say my mate tried the lot I even managed to get some sheep dip even ivormec nothing worked he couldn't take the bitch the vet she was well worked and watch because it spreads like f**k ivormec wont kill anything thats fungal. I done all the vet things over the years. Canestine cream you buy in the chemist works just fine. If your a bit more extreme you can use bleach that doesnt have any lye in the ingredients.Hope I got the spelling right. Both works fine.I have used both on a rescue lurcher full of ring worm and cleared u

For punctures Ive always got a barrel of a syringe. You can buy them in the chemist.Get the bigger 10ml barrel. Boil up some water and add a little bit of salt. When it luke warm draw it into the barrel.Put the nozzel part at the entrance or into the entrance of the puncture and squert the luke warm salty water into the puncture.Do this a few times a day. This will clean it out lovely.Dont be afraid to squert it as hard as you feel. Mix it up and squert it in gently aswell. Watch you eyes as it goes every where. I only put about a half a teaspoon of salt in a cup of boiling water.Too much salt

Snook out today for a couple of hours while the young lad was in school.Dont know who the kid is as I couldnt wait untill tomoro to head out with my son. Hard going, a bit warm. Still loads of cover and those stingers. Missed a few not finding all the holes with the cover.Get them another day. Still managed to get a couple of digs. The hob is flying. Got a mark on the locater, knew he was killing the rabbit.Digging down and yes he moved but I know his style. Pulled the dead rabbit out and got another mark about 4 foot away. The locator read 1, so handy little dig to another rabbit. Left the pl
